Seeking Victim Information in 2×2 Investigation
The FBI Omaha Field Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying victims or individuals with knowledge of abuse and/or criminal behavior that has occurred within a religious group that traditionally has not had a name. The group has often been referred to by others outside of the group as “2×2,” “The Way,” “The Truth,” and “The Church With No Name,” among others.
While it is natural for parents to want to gain a better understanding of the potential exploitation of their child, further questioning of the child may lead to inaccurate statements and increased emotional trauma.
If you have information about this ongoing investigation or believe your child or other children may have been victimized by individuals affiliated with 2×2, the FBI requests you complete a short online questionnaire.
The FBI is legally mandated to identify victims of federal crimes it investigates. Victims may be eligible for certain services, restitution, and rights under federal and/or state law. Your responses are voluntary but may be useful in the federal investigation and to identify you as a potential victim. Based on the responses provided, you may be contacted by the FBI and asked to provide additional information. All identities of victims will be kept confidential.
To assist in the investigation and to be provided with information on resources available to victims, please answer the questionnaire to the best of your ability. It may be that you have already given this information to an FBI agent or law enforcement, but please provide it again on this questionnaire. Based on your responses, you may be contacted by the FBI and asked to provide additional information.

Everyone should have that expectation. Except, it’s more likely every worker is hiding something, not just those who have “pushed back”.
If you were ever in that insular, small, tight knit community of workers you would realize there are not any secrets. Even the most junior workers get very inside “gossip” and secrets the general members are not privy to. These people also like to talk. So expect information to be released.
Agree. Look how fast Tammy, Heidi & Alexis` flipped on Scott Rauscher, when just recently ALL THREE signed a letter together, siding with Scott Rauscher.

Four months after siding with Scott Rauscher on not wanting to hear any more past complaints from sex abuse victims, Tammy, Heidi & Alexis Alexis`, turned on Scott Rauscher in the:
“Sister worker letter to Bozeman friends“, posted on Wings For Truth. The three women said in that letter, “Below is a letter that Scott Rauscher has written to us workers and to you all. We are deeply disappointed as our own trust has been broken yet again. In our own words we told him, “We will trust you until we can’t.”,,, Unfortunately, this shock has made that time come, and we are sorry for all as we experience this sense of betrayal from another brother that has fallen…With appreciation for each, Tammy, Heidi & Alexis`

Tammy, Heidi and Alexis all know about one particular horrendous child sexual abuse that took place. It is sickening how these three “sisters” all act offended by Scott Rauscher porn following behavior, when they all likely knew of an innocent child being abused.

July 2, 2023, it was stated, “Our child was a victim of CSA. ———‘s abuser took it farther and suffocated our child, leading to brain damage. Our child will never recover from what happened. This has affected our family in ways no one could possibly understand. It’s not just the therapies and counseling that is needed. It has taken a mental and emotional toll on our entire family”. The sexual abuses, and spiritual abuses, don’t just affect the one person being abused for the short time that the abuse takes place. The affects of the abuse last a entire life time, not just for the victim, but also the entire family of the victim.
The sad story of this child that was suffocated while the sex act took place was written by the child’s parents. The letter continued,
“We’ve heard multiple times about those that feel for the workers or even those that feel some abusers have changed so they should be allowed in meetings.
We are here to say that there MUST be a ZERO tolerance policy put in place.
Most of this can be laid at the worker’s feet. Many besides us, have come forward over the years about abuse and they were silenced, ignored or threatened.
For those that read this, make no mistake there are abusers in your meetings. Your overseers know”. The parents then wrote later in the same letter,
“Much of this criminal behavior can be put at the workers’ feet. Many situations have been brought forward to workers such as yourself and many on your staff. How many cries were made and met with silence? We are not the only ones. At least ten workers knew about ——— from us, not to mention family, and we were met with silence. Not even a phone call to ask how you could help”. Scott Rauscher and Heidi Bryant were two people who knew and are listed in the letter. And they did nothing; ” we were met with silence. Not even a phone call to ask how you could help”.
It is truly a blessing that the FBI is present in the sexual abuse scandal, and subsequent sexual abuse cover up that has been the culture for “the Truth”. Scott Rauscher and every head worker, at the very least, knows of very damming information regarding sexual abuses and their cover-up. If ANY worker has salient information about these abuses and remains silent, they will have to answer to God. That includes Scott Rauscher and Heidi Bryant.
Don’t give him ideas, OhSnap. The Zimbabweans deserve better. Everyone everywhere deserves better.

The convention owners should be put on notice, of this investigation by the FBI, and subsequent civil lawsuits. It would be suggested that umbrella insurance policies be increased to the maximum coverage, and what ever other insurance be obtained. With the recent record ruling against the Trump organization, it’s seen that courts have the ability to bring down devastating fines and awards. While the Trump organization ruling did not involve sexual abuse, another of Trump’s cases did and that too, was for a record amount setting up a precedent for court rulings. The civil lawsuits will follow this investigation, and since the workers money is hidden, the easiest path to pay will follow and if the assault took place at a convention, that will be the target.
From the FBI website regarding their investigation into the cult, “Victims may be eligible for certain services, restitution, and rights under federal and/or state law”. Restitution is recompense for injury or loss. So, yes, after the investigation is concluded there will be money that is going to come from somewhere to pay victims for their abuses/ injury/ loss. If heat is put on convention ground owners, who can easily be tied to the cult, Ray Hoffman will similarly feel the heat, from the convention ground owners, and the underground money will be seen. Guaranteed.

Ray Hoffman covered for many molesters including, Ira Hobbs. Like the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), disgraced leader Warren Jeffs, Ray Hoffman may see his chickens come home to roost.

The FBI is not an organization you want to be coming after your organization, especially when there is so much obvious wrong doing, and also so much sexual leniency in the ” good ole boys ” club that many male workers took advantage of, while living with the very people they were to be giving spiritual guidance to. ….As a side point, how often did workers talk of the details of the Bible, or the exciting, fascinating Word of God while they were in your home? Seldom to never? Yes, same experiences here over a 50 year period. How often did the workers ridicule and slam “worldly (Christian) churches”? Constantly. Why?

The Larry Nassar sexual abuse lawsuit against gymnast resulted in $500 million being paid out. This was for the sexual abuse from ONE guy. Now, the FBI is being sued for $1 billion dollars for their mishandling of that investigation. One would think the FBI will get this church investigation right, having egg on their face from another similar recent investigation.
Just a quick reminder…the FBI wants to hear about ANY abuse from the Workers, the Elders, the Bishop’s, a relative who’s professing or was, an old boyfriend who’s professing or was. Worker’s who knowingly were forcing you to meet with a predator, or teaching you “how to interact” with one, or abusing your credit cards, or anything to do with your vehicles, or your homes (storing of bought items that are for future sale – if workers have stored things in your home, you have the responsibility and right to check what’s being stored in YOUR home, because you better believe you can be held responsible for the contents). Any inappropriate use of your internet (one of the fastest ways to KNOW, is within an hour to a month post visit, you will start seeing ads that are directly related to anything they were viewing while on your internet…ie: naked or scantily clad women, ads for porn sites, ads for male enhancement, etc.). If you have shared your cell plan with them and they have abused it. It’s ALL of interest to the FBI.
We had to make up a “Welcome” card for our guest rooms, after several visits resulted in nasty ads showing up on our phones and computers (and on that of our children’s phones and computers). To remind the male workers that we can SEE all the activity on our server, whether they delete it from their computer or not. Our internet provider’s owner has family that’s professing, and being in a small town…
Leadership (Ray, Barry, Dale) need to get out in front of the investigation and email the FBI notice to all cult members and encourage all who have been victims to contact the FBI. Elders also need to announce after each meeting that the FBI wants to talk to all victims. This message needs to be repeated until the investigation is complete.
Bucky, the “sweep it under the rug” policy has persisted since the days of William Irvine. At that time his undoing was to get rid of overseers and shut down the hierarchy. The overseers did not want to give up THEIR power, so William Irvine was kicked out of the whole thing he started. His name was successfully swept under the rug and not heard of again for many years.

Not until a few books came out and then the Internet. After that, the cover on “the organization” was blown off. The internet, fully embraced by the overseers, was the worst thing that could have condoned. The overseers should have okayed the use of tv, and condemned the internet. But “following porn” on the internet is very wide spread. Their was just one overseer that couldn’t keep his “cookies” from crowding up his Facebook home page.

I am sure many people are wondering: how did it ever get this far to attract the FBI? That is a good question.
A bit of history:
And with that summary, here we are. It becomes clear why the heavy hand of the law has to step in as there was plenty of warning for decades but largely ignored.
One can speculate why the overseers never properly, and with moral clarity, addressed this problem but the fact remains…..they haven’t for the vast majority of them.
Does anyone know for sure WHY the FBI has taken this matter up? I mean, Who or What has actually determined their involvement in the scandals/crimes of our fellowship? = Is it at the request of local or state law enforcement? Can the attorneys for our traumatized victims request the FBI’s help? Did theirtelephone Hotline “switchboard” get warm enuf to set off an alarm? Anyway, It’s embarrassing.
Someone asked a similar question on the Advocates For The Truth town hall Zoom meeting Tuesday night (Feb. 20, 2024). In answer, Private Investigator Cynthia Liles said she began seeing posts many months ago by victims and others about contacting the FBI. Before long (I don’t remember the time frame), the FBI contacted Cynthia and wanted her master list of perpetrators. She said no, so the FBI subpoenaed her. Now they have it, and any new perpetrator names she gathers from victims continue to be reported to the FBI. For more detailed information, watch or listen to the town hall meeting at the video link Anon posted below. Sorry, I didn’t make note of where in the video she told about this. (She has not given victim names to the FBI.)
@jcadeplatte, in the AFTT town hall call on Feb 20th Todd Price gave some information on this..Todd was introduced as a retired FBI agent who professes (or professed). Being retired, he isn’t working as an agent in the current investigation, but he offered his professional perspective on what would be required for the FBI to have taken this step..You can hear his explanation in the recording of the call, at the youtube link that Anon posted below (thank you) from around 32:28 to 33:59.
@jcadeplatte – I hope it’s more than “embarrassing”. Because of the lack of care for victims (lots of words that “we care”, but no actions), some felt it best to contact the FBI for help (to which we are eternally greatful for their bravery). The workers were threatening people to keep their mouths shut (keeping law enforcement from being able to prosecute), while allowing the predators to go on sexually assaulting along their path way…
The Private Investigator – which was frantically denied that there even was one, when she was first brought to light about being involved, immediately started keeping a list of the perdators names that everyone started calling in to her.
There were two other couples who were also getting calls from victims, and THEY were keeping names/lists and helping to get the word out. None of them are now a part of our fellowship, but they will all definitely be blessed by God for their efforts.
I realize it’s tough to comprehend how wrong many in the ministry has steered us, and the magnitude of the carnage those (select ones) in the ministry have reigned down on the flock…has allowed us to realize that Matthew 7:15 wasn’t speaking just about “false prophets” or those who are outside our faith that are preaching the Gospel. The wolves that have crept into our ministry is who and what has destroyed and is slowly imploding our fellowship, because they didn’t do/teach the right thing from the very get-go.
The collections of names shows that some in our ministry are responsible for creating the largest group of predators.
The 2nd largest group of predators names have been those of our Elders.
Then, #3 has been everyone else.
The victims desperately need our help. The predators need to be cast out, and kept out. They do not attend for Spiritual reasons, they are there for the vulnerable that they can prey on. Meanwhile, they are busy grooming the rest (the ones who find it hard to believe that THEY could or would DO such a thing) so it would be easy for them to move about and pick and choose whatever child or women they set as their target!
Yes, we are rising up in righteous anger, which IS scriptural.
This whole organization needs an overhaul – to get to where we can honestly say, “we follow Jesus”.

I get it, we also live in a small community. I don’t think these overseers realize just how much they are hurting the congregation by NOT doing the right thing to remove predators permanently and report them…They are hurting everyone personally – our reputations within our communities (as it’s coming out in the news – and there’s hints that ABC news will be doing a program on our fellowship…so, EVERYONE is going to know). People are asking “how can you still be a part, when your management isn’t taking action against criminals who prey on vulnerable people?”…So, lots of people are learning…but, it will soon be EVERYONE.
Robert Corfield needs to go back to Canada and face charges. It’s not too late for Mike Havet to charge him!! Canada has NO time limit.

I don’t know how others feel but I feel sad. I left the “cult” over five years ago but I grew up in it. I watched the town hall and saw sadness on so many faces. The Word of God tells us that we need to be careful not to be deceived and to guard our minds and hearts.
Unfortunately, these false preachers were able to breach the barriers and have manipulated and brainwashed many. The trauma and pain will live with many for years to come but their end (false preachers and those who turned a blind eye, covered up misdeeds and protected them) will be according to their works.
You can make your home a safe environment for fellowship by just keeping it in the family, at least while all of this is taking place. You will be directly under God and I promise there is amazing peace and the Holy Spirit is a great teacher. Sometimes it is important to remove yourself from a toxic environment. Often, people do not realise how much this is needed until it is actually done. God is able to finish what he has started.
Preachers anywhere can only plant seeds and water but it is God who brings the change. When you are sincere and faithful he will be with you wherever you go but he has to be the priority. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone. It does not come from any denomination and the workers do not have it in their pockets to hand out. Tying the meetings to salvation has been a useful trap for false preachers.
The two biggest fears that people have are the fear of death and the fear of being shunned. When you add the the fear of losing salvation to the fear of death and link it to membership of a group, it is clear to see how powerful the leaders become. DO NOT believe them, Christ is not returning for a denomination, he is returning for his faithful bride which is made up of all those who love, fear, and believe upon him throughout the world.
The wolves were guarding the hen house and many still are so this is not the end.
@Nicky – I appreciate your post, but would like to add one thing. You mentioned to just keep your gatherings “within the family”. I would like to state, family members are abusers too, so…to truly keep children safe – Parents: WATCH your children always – do not let them go off to any room or outdoors unless you can SEE them from wherever you are. If you teach your children they are to never be anywhere you can’t SEE them, it’s much harder for someone – even someone they know, to lure them into a bathroom (with the parents sitting right around the corner) and with the help of suffocation do their dirty deeds! (yes, this has been reported even within our faith). People have to recognize, these are the most evil of criminals on the planet. They easily blend in with everyone. They groom all the adults around the target they have set their eyes on, by being super helpful, showing kindness, interact with everyone in a safe manner around the adults, have a good sense of humor, dress well and keep well groomed…so that when the victim does come forward NO ONE will believe what they are hearing. Rarely is it some scraggly person outside our circle that we all THINK is what they would look like.

I know that you are right about everything you said. This is so heartbreaking. I find myself getting teary-eyed when I think of the people, the abuse, the broken families, the deception and I can go on and on.
How can they do this to people who just want to serve God and be so cold? How can they be so deceitful? How can they not care about the pain and the hurt of the sheep and only care for the wolves? I believe it is because they are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

I am not a crier…but, I find myself with tears streaming down my face, more and more…one disappointment after the next. Hearing another victim-survivors story and crying with them as they tell their story. Crying for the loss of something I held so dear to my heart – like water leaking between my fingers as I try so desperately to hang on to what I once thought this way was…deeply etched into every part of my being. Yet, knowing the hand of God is stretched out to all His people around the globe on their journey of serving Him. Tears in desperation that God will send His Son to end all this pain and agony.

We found out the hard way. Spiritual abuse is very real! The leaders of this group really do NOT care.
We all owe an enormous debt of gratitude to those who are digging up horrible things that perhaps have been long buried. Things that they wished to leave buried, but have brought up for the benefit of people they don’t even know.

I am distressed for every individual who has had their innocense, their childhood, their life stolen by abuse, especially by those who are supposed to be spiritual leaders. It is beyond words to describe the vileness of it.
We are all obligated to speak up for those violated and against those who have done the violating.

Yes, we need to speak up! A little study on speaking up:

@PennyT – we are thankful for people like you who recognize there’s a problem, and want help for the victims. They desperately need us, and deserve every help available.
Remember we have all been hurt – maybe not sexual abuse, but these overseers and SOME of the workers and elders, bishops, deacons and others from the congregation – brought all of this on us because of self gratification. Sex & money, and the pleasure of domination. Now the whole world will know that that has been more acceptible to our leaders, than living a Christ filled life. So, our very reputations are crumbling, even if we think we have “done nothing wrong” it’s called “guilt by association”. Continuing to support these evil people by keeping their secrets and allowing them to stay in the ministry makes us complicit!
To show the world that WE are not supporting these evil men and women, and that we DO practice Charity with each other in the way Jesus intended – with respect, and care for others very being, so the world will know that WE are His…contact the FBI with everything we know…literally EVERYTHING. Do not self filter, because what you may think is not important, could be that one piece of information that gives them the last straw that connects all the dots! Don’t keep their secrets and get everyone in your state behind you to remove them from their pedestals – or, stop allowing them into your homes, don’t go to their Gospel Meetings, or financially support them (I still support the ones I know had no clue, and are living what they preach). Once there’s no one left to preach at (yes, I used AT on purpose)… only then will these evil men and women decide to take their lies elsewhere (hopefully, with them to prison). Even if they are reading the words of Jesus and speaking from them – it’s all lies because THEY aren’t walking what they are talking!
Give names of anyone you know was harmed (even if it was to be kept secret), and let the FBI know they asked you to keep it a secret, then they can send trauma experts out to speak with the victims, to see if they would be willing to come forward.
We have been SO deceived!
