Dear Brothers,

This sad note needs to be written to verify something that most of you would likely have heard already.  Dean Bruer has been accused of living an immoral double life, and there seems to be ample evidence to support these claims.  We are sorry for all who have been or will be affected by his behavior. And we are writing so you have somewhat to answer those who might be communicating with you from your areas. There doesn’t seem to be any need to go into more detail beyond this.

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

We grieve. We trust that Our lord will give comfort as we gather tomorrow…
