WINGS commends readers to explore the newly developed website https://2x2churchaccountability.org
2×2 Church Accountability is a nonprofit organization founded in 2024 (formerly Advocates For The Truth), in response to the growing exposure of child sexual abuse and sexual assault within the 2×2 church system. The purpose of its website is to promote public safety, protect children, and hold accountable alleged perpetrators and those complicit in concealing abuse.
2×2 Church Accountability is a safe space for survivors of sexual abuse within the 2×2 church community to explore their options, report abuse, and find support in pursuing accountability and justice on their own terms.
Most survivors of sexual abuse within the 2×2 church hesitate to report because they’ve been silenced, dismissed, and failed by the faith community they trusted. 2×2 Church Accountability is a dedicated team of experienced professionals offering a safe, respectful space where you are heard, believed, and empowered to explore your options for justice and accountability—if and when you’re ready to take that step.
2×2 Church Accountability understands how isolating and painful it can be to come forward to report abuse, especially when you’ve come from a community that prioritizes secrecy over safety, which is why, with years of investigative experience and a structured, fact-based approach, their dedicated team provides compassionate, professional support to guide you through the reporting process and beyond.
1,207 perpetrator names have been reported to 2×2 Church Accountability to date. 275 have been vetted so far. Their database will be updated as the work to vet accusations continues. See https://2x2churchaccountability.org/abouttdb for important details about the database.

what’s the point of the website? It lists about 25% of the accused and then states
PRESUMPTION OF INNOCENCE
Under U.S. law and many other legal systems, individuals accused of criminal conduct are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Likewise, civil liability exists only where it has been established through the applicable legal process.
The inclusion of an individual or organization on this website does not imply guilt, liability, or wrongdoing.
“The point of the database” is explained on the “About the Database” page, the last link in the article above.
It says, “We believe that responsibly documenting allegations, legal proceedings, institutional responses, and confirmed findings can help support survivors, promote transparency, inform the public, and contribute to the prevention of future abuse.”
The 25% listed are people named as abusers in reports that the team of experts already have vetted and found credible by professional standards. Other names will be added if they meet the same criteria after vetting. The team are continuing to vet reports already received as well as any reports that are made in the future.
