OK Rob, you take a rest, but Kent Williston? This is just transferring the problem to another like minded one of the team. Let’s see ;-
wine is a real problem. Kent said this in a GOSPEL MEETING in Vancouver once (not verbatim) – The miracle of water to wine was a passage that never should have been in the bible.

Kent was the cause of so many issues here in BC that we sighed a huge relief when he was sent back.
You pretty much verbalized everything I wanted to say. Kent Williston????? Seriously???
Yep. This is not a good thing. He also not only took the “part & Emblems” away from someone here for divorce & remarriage, but he & John Vandenberg (ironically) told her she was no longer welcome to come to meetings.
I’m not sure what happened out there in Canada other than he was supposedly sent by Dale Shultz to be overseer, but then suddenly returned after only a couple of years. A man so stuck in traditions that he forgets the reasons for them…or maybe doesn’t care.
Wow, what’s his take on pedophiles?

The problem with Kent and other workers is that they think they are the gatekeepers of salvation. Quick to pass judgment on remarried people and tell them not allowed in meeting because of a ‘bad spirit’ or ‘flaunting their sin.’ Probably had a better spirit because they got out of an abusive relationship and they’re happier. But yeah keep them and their kids with painted toe nails and pierced ears out of meeting while you have secret meetings to vote to keep known pedos and the most vile evilness in meeting. What ministry runs with empathy and compassion to protect pedophiles and rapists while our kids and generations before were abused and treated like trash? Trash thrown out quietly in the middle of the night. Heaped on top of another generation. What is the vetting process of workers!? Socially challenged, can’t finish college, can’t support a family, hiding ‘unacceptable’ sexuality, crave attention and being idolized, drawn to being the most evil and vile? I’m up to 4 relatives abused. I pray for peace and healing for all survivors and I pray for justice.
Anointed ones can walk away? I sure hope this is Gods decision and not just man’s. How will we know?
Seen him recently and he didn’t look well…not surprised if this is really true from him…
We all make mistakes sometimes. We all need rest sometimes. We all need to stop and take care of ourselves sometimes. I’m glad Rob is taking time – this change provides some hope. I hope Kent wants to be in full compliance with the law. Wouldn’t it be great if Kent has an ethical and moral standard that goes above and beyond – like we do in the workplace? So many of us are able, ready and willing to help if his intention is to wholeheartedly help survivors and vulnerable people. Just ask people with responsibility and integrity in Minnesota and Washington state. Life is a lot easier when you’re trying to do what’s right with good intentions. The responsible brothers might even find retaining a criminal defense lawyer and public relations firm unnecessary like it is for the rest of us on the right side of this crisis. I want to be cautiously optimistic about this change, and give it 3-4 weeks to see if the situation will improve here.
I’m glad he’s chosen to rest. Mistakes have been made, and I truly hope he does use this time to reflect, and get answers for how things could have been handled to prevent the stress he caused himself. But, I hope Kent can be strong enough to stand up to Richard, and do the right thing. Not going to hold my breath, as things didn’t go well when he was “overseer” in Canada. I wish these guys would finally accept that we should NOT have overseers. It’s not scriptural, and perhaps God is using every means necessary to try to get that through their heads!
You know it’s so much easier when you tell the Truth!
You don’t have to try and remember who you lied too, who you gave some versions of truth with untruths in between…..
it just becomes facts…..
and facts are 💯 facts, so easy don’t you think?
That’s what my mother used to say to us when we were kids. “If you tell one lie, you have to tell 10 more to cover it up.“
Today; we just read Rob Newman’s post from April concerning a removal. It was excellent: until we read the reality of the real reality of those in the trenches who endured this twisted, protected, hidden leprosy prevalent in a so called faith-based religion.

WoW: the truth of that brings back the trauma of being “out-cast”. As we searched for who and what we were: the gripping, chilling – panic of all that had been our complete identity – would grip and twist our minds. Yes, cold sweats and our minds freeze; even when we understood from our desperate search of what God left on record for our Learning. Yes, we found that Jesus was the Son of God and God the Son and that His earthly ministry was only to the Chosen Nation of Israel; so that Nation could be a Nation of priest to all the world — so those Nations could come and be proselytes of Jewdism. AND rejoice with Israel!
Knowing all of this: in God’s exact words, did not stop those brutal ‘panic’ gripping moments. AS we read comments here; we realize the deep struggles as hurting, struggling souls are trying to cope with a “pig’s ear” that has been sold as a “Silk purse”. Please, just earnestly and with eyes of understanding being exercised; desire and learn what Our Holy Bibles that are the very “Spirit of Christ”(1 Peter 1:11) “actually has left on record for our learning =understanding”! AND what is actually for our “obedience”!
As the days became years, we are grateful those panic gripping episodes are mostly gone and realize it is only because God was able to guide us as we desperately spent every available time to know what WAS actually in Our Bibles for us. And are grateful for God’s mercy as He guided our desperate struggle and opened our hearts with understanding. And for those who encouraged and rejoiced with us.
Is this the end to all of life problems? No, but we can meet them with quiet assurance.
Just a thought, wondering if the WORKERS read our thoughts on this site 🤔 😅 😕 😉 😬 😀 🤔 😅 😕 😉 😬 😀 🤔……or just like these faces we’re just blummdling along in the WAY with really NO INterested leaders……what a thought if that’s sooooooo then JESUS isn’t with THEM! I would like THEM to respond somewhere on this site with a LETTER telling us so.
mmmmmmmmm – I sadly hear very little of what the previous writer says being of the bible and it is amazingly how much on this website has human personal accusations and opinions ….. it sort of reminds me of Judas pointing and kissing our Lord Jesus….what is your motive for being on this website and what is your motive for your comments and opinions I ask?….. Its all going to seem pathetic for all of us at the day of judgement when we say “oh bit Lord I was just saying this and that on Wing of truth and I think the people should have done this or that…..TV drama or what?!

Your tone is of concern to me and I would imagine to others as well.
Sure you will find many that display frustration, anger and even despair in their comments. There may be a few who are merely agitators or even workers who pose as someone else while fishing for information.
But back to your comment – it just seems to indicate that you are possibly in disagreement with the real concerns of the majority of people active on this website. Or perhaps your comment isn’t clear and I have just misinterpreted the meaning of what you said.
Please tell us what is YOUR motive for being on this site?
In addition, please answer this;
Are you in support of the ministry status quo – that is how overseers have and many still do handle known pedophiles and fornicators, especially those active in the ministry?
Finally please identify yourself by first name and last name.

Jeremy, thank you for this response. I felt despair reading what Darren wrote, and I didn’t have the energy to respond.
Darren thinks this is all over dramatized and a nuisance. If only that first letter about Dean Bruer could’ve not been leaked or his laptop files not discovered everything would be normal and the 30-40 workers that have left or been removed in the last 5 months would still be in their faithful place being led by the spirit and being more empathetic and caring towards molesters and rapists.
That’s pretty much what it sounds like. 🙁

Do you HAVE any children that have been abused by an elder in your meetings?
And that happened 25 + years ago?
Do you have multiple victim’s in your family because of trusting someone EVIL?
And did you go to the workers as we have been instructed all Our lives?
And have The Workers ignored your pleas to do something about it? As the victims couldn’t speak to the police for the shame of it?
I have many more questions but Somehow I don’t think anything as happened in your family or I bet you’d have a different outlook.

so a website like this can connect so many people from around the world so we can converse our feelings with one another. A few years ago this would not have been possible, but now we can connect. This is an important way to cry out for change and to apply pressure where it is needed.
No matter. Your comment was good despite the “error”. I got what you meant and I am sure many /most will. That instruction came from Jesus not some random zealot. He also spoke out about what he thought of people who harmed others (little children and the millstone). What I just don’t get is how those workers that do this aweful stuff don’t FEAR and how do they calmly take the emblems on Sunday. I just don’t get it.
They do it because they are still wholeheartedly supported by the majority of the professing ‘faithful’, who still believe this is ‘God’s Ministry on Earth’. In my firsthand experience, they express no sympathy for the victims, minimize the scope of the problem, and think the posters on this website are just enjoying an ‘open season’ on workers. They relish and abuse the power they hold over the ‘faithful’. In the words attributed to Mark Twain: ‘It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince someone they’ve been fooled’. Sad, but true.
I just don’t get it either !!
But I do know their day awaits them, and it will be God’s LAW that they will be facing as taught to us thru our Lord as you already mentioned. I tremble to think of it !!!!
