Update from Rob Newman – overseer of CA AZ NV HI & Pacific Islands

Date: August 15, 2023 at 7:57:22 PM PDT

Subject: August 15 update from Rob Newman

Dear Field elders, Please see Rob’s letter below, and forward to those in your meeting. Thank you.

August 15, 2023

Dear workers, elders and friends, (elders please forward to those in your meeting)

Good evening. Thank you for your many expressions of support and care during these difficult and busy times. The last four weeks have included visits, meetings, planning meetings and two helpful conventions in Canada, Theodore and Portage La Prairie, that were planned for me in January. It is good to stand by and stand with our brethren in each place.

Although the past four weeks have been busy as mentioned, at the same time we have attempted to attend to as many communications as possible. Unfortunately, there is still a backlog of unanswered emails and texts. Thank you for your patience.

Even though this update is the last we will regularly be posting here, we will continue to address the needs we face and apply the changes that we are committed to, as outlined in the three documents we sent out some time ago (covering child sexual abuse (CSA) education, policy and behavior guidelines). The latest version of these three documents will remain available in this folder, and we will announce version updates. Please retain this link and be familiar with these documents: https://tinyurl.com/CSAdocuments

Once again we would like to reconfirm that we are doing all we can to address all issues that have been brought to our attention, and will continue to do so. Please be assured that if any issue arises in your area, especially in your specific meetings, we will certainly be advising you of what is happening- above all, we are committed to safety for all and peace in our meetings. In the same way, we ask that you please communicate with us if you observe situations or behavior that is a concern to you- as much as possible we want to be aware, respond and avoid anything harmful occurring.

We can assure you we continue to work full time on addressing these issues. We know the Adversary desires to sow doubt and fear, so please communicate and ask if you feel concerned or have questions. Eventually we will work through these historical cases that have initially been brought to light, and then it remains for us all to be vigilant and wise going forward. In answer to some who have asked, we do have a system in place so that persons of concern are not forgotten, and if they move to a new area, that area will be informed.

With regard to reporting any concerns or issues (other than suspected child abuse- which must be directly and promptly reported to the authorities), we are considering how best to form a group of responsible and professional friends who can receive and respond to reports. If possible, the thought is to have two channels whereby reports can be sent in: either to this group of responsible friends, or through multiple workers that you trust. We want to assure you that reports will be attended to.

In summary: Please ASK if you have questions; please REPORT if you have concerns; please do your part to help by being AWARE of CSA education and our commitment to safety in the documents we have sent. We urge all, especially elders, to take the California Mandated Reporter training for responsible awareness. The link is https://tinvurl.com/MandatedReporterCA

Much of this letter is about unfortunate but very important issues- but it is important keep things in perspective: God’s way does and will continue, and we take comfort and trust in the fact that He sees and knows everything, and is keeping His trusting little ones (Psa 23). He is aware of every thought and intent of each heart. The result of these recent times should be a deep searching of our own heart and the spirit and the conditions there- every failure we’ve observed began somewhere: pride, dishonesty, reservations, unwillingness, feeding wrong desires, etc. May we look to Jesus, listen and respond as our Father seeks to save us from becoming a casualty ourselves, especially through these troubled times when the Adversary is so busy- he is angry and his time is short.

With His great care and help we look forward to a bright future that includes lessons learned and addressing things correctly.

With respect, care, and apologies for past mistakes, Rob and helpers

  1. Rob Newman, with rampant Child Sexual Abuses, Sexual Abuses to adults, sexual predators protected and allowed to join gatherings where children and victims are present, and workers, and head workers that are complicit in these crimes and have overlooked these crimes, and you say, “God’s way does and will continue”. You are so very arrogant and self righteous Rob Newman to epouse such blithering, to think you and your corruption has a monopoly on God! God’s way is through Jesus only. Not through Rob Newman, or any other human, ” worker” or not. That is a cult mentality when you think you alone have the rights to God. That is not Biblical. Rob Newman, you write, “we do have a system in place so that persons of concern are not forgotten, and if they move to a new area, that area will be informed”. Why not try zero tolerance for a change? Get rid of the predators, and all those that covered for the predators. Of course, like Craig Winquist, you have to make exceptions. God’s actual way, or word more accurately, does NOT make exceptions. Rob Newman, one thing you said was accurate, “these troubled times when the (a)dversary is so busy- he is angry and his time is short”. And as one head worker wrote, child sexual abuses are at ” epidemic” levels in the way.

    1. Just another negative unhelpful unreasonable attack on a worker. Your constant negative hypercritical self righteous pontificating moral outrage blather does nothing to help CSA victims. And your comment comparing the Truth to a cult is disgusting.

      1. TEE, the Mormons, Jehovah Witness and many other groups proclaim, just as Rob Newman does here, they are “God’s way”. These other groups separate their members from society through dress codes and hair styles, the same as the ” truth ” does. Leadership then has more control of the members, and also the same look fosters community, helping the members to identify with their peers and want to stay, because of the community — something bigger than themselves alone. These groups ALL say they have the “only” path to salvation. Christ Jesus is the only way to salvation, not some group that states only they can save our soul. All these groups, including the “truth” is a cult. It’s just a matter if the members are willing to see it and realize the reality.

      2. Actually the comment by “For Christ” on that which is an identifying factor of a cult is correct. There are unfortunately many characteristics of THE TRUTH which are identified as such.
You my friend should show more of the nature of Christ, which is not evident in your response.

    2. Guilt and regrets will do that to you Sir. As you have no job health benefits how are you paying for this elective sleep study? And those that are paying for it for you do you not feel guilty for your lack of reporting, doing the right thing? Karma is a Bi**h. Are these same money people not now co- conspirators, in your cover up? A detailed YouTube video shows the intres that the IRS has in the 2×2 and coonieities.

  2. Newman and others really need to stop referring to the group as “God’s way”. It is not right for Newman or anybody else to speak for God and call themselves His group. Do not think God would want to have His Name attached to any group where CSA/SA has ruined so many lives and with much of it leadership directly involved in this evil practice. Please call it for what is is – the William Irvine way.

  3. I’m very disappointed in the tone of the comments here. When we are provoked or angered, what comes out is what’s in our heart, and the comments above show plenty of ugliness to go around. Don’t return evil for evil. God was clear that there will always be false prophets, wolves in sheep’s clothing, tares with the wheat. This doesn’t mean that everyone in the ministry is evil, self-righteous, immoral, etc. The majority of these ministers are honestly serving and doing their best. It’s only been a matter of months since the revelation about Dean Bruer – you have to give people some space and time to change. Since when were you ever able to change on a dime?

    1. I agree to some extent. I agree that most workers are doing their best. But when an overseer writes to contact” multiple workers that you trust”, that is pretty telling. By the same token Larae given what has happened you can’t expect the fellowship to trust on a dime either. We need our space and time for our trust to be restored. (if it ever is) And BTW the victims will carry this forever!

      1. I didn’t see a problem with his proposed way of reporting. It seems he is proposing multiple channels through which to report because a victim may not feel comfortable reporting through a given channel. Maybe they will establish a group that includes friends who are familiar with victim advocacy in their regular jobs.

My concern is – we say we want to change our fellowship to be a safer place, and we want transparency and communication. But then when communication is released, it’s like releasing it to a bunch of wolves who just want to tear it apart. It’s not good enough. It’s not sincere enough. It’s just words and not actions. I get that people want to see change immediately, but since when is change ever immediate? I want all the things everyone else wants but I understand that changing the culture is not going to happen overnight.

    2. I agree with a couple points here. The tone is very harsh and personal. I think it’s an indication of some people just getting ‘fed up’ with words.
I also agree many workers are trying to serve as best they can. They should not, however, preach that this is ‘the one true way’ and the workers are ‘God’s ministry on earth’. That is clearly not scriptural.

As to your comment “it’s only been a matter of months”…, CSA/SA in this religion has been going on for decades and largely covered up by overseers and complicit others. Court records of dozens of cases are available to anyone interested. Records of dozens of others that haven’t been litigated are also available. Some are allegations that haven’t been corroborated, for sure. Makes one wonder if the truth about Dean Bruer’s evil hadn’t been ‘inconveniently’ leaked how many professing people would even know?
Websites such as Wings and several others, and social media generally are opening lots of professing eyes. Lots of lies, distortions, and ‘junk’ for sure, but also lots of uncomfortable truths for those that would seek to cover up. Personally, I prefer more information to less, and am willing to do my own vetting and corroboration.

      1. I agree that the overall problem has been snowballing and allowed to continue for way too long, although most of us were unaware. I think it’s a reflection of ignorance and probably a component of the “good ol boy system.” I don’t think people understand pedophilia and the pathology of abuse, so they constantly underestimated the risk. They treated it like another sin that could be forgiven and “go and sin no more.” But pedophilia is a psychological disease that most likely cannot be cured, and so forgiveness was an inappropriate way to handle it.

What is happening now is similar to what’s happened in mainstream culture/society. This is our version of “me too” and “cancel culture,” where we are demanding social accountability for immoral or criminal behavior. We’re just a couple years behind the times.

When I say it’s only been 5 months – that‘s is the timeframe since this immense pressure has been placed on the ministry to make changes. Because there is no “pope” or singular figure at the top, each state or group of states is literally reinventing the wheel, over and over. I see a lot of work has been put into documents and policies, but they haven’t been standardized because there is no unifying entity. Therefore, when you have something so chaotic and disjointed, I don’t know how one can possibly expect immediate change.

    3. Larae, with all due respect, you and your naive thinking is exactly what perpetuated these sexual abuses. You state, “It’s only been a matter of months since the revelation about Dean Bruer – you have to give people some space and time to change”. Time to change?! Shouldn’t you want to be with people that are changed already, and are living for Christ. Instead you want to stay in the same quagmire in hopes of these people, sex abusers, predators and those who cover for these criminals, that are living their life with no foundation in Christ Jesus, that they will change? These people are where they desire to be in life, rubbing shoulders with naive thinking people. This is their dream playground. It would be better for you, Larae, to change your thinking, protect yourself and grow Spiritually by being around real, genuine Christian people. These people are not going to change either, and that’s a good thing. A very good thing.

      1. It’s a good thing you wrote “with all due respect” because that apparently gives you license to say untrue, unkind, and disrespectful things. I perpetuated these abuses? That’s a strong claim. I’ve reported abusers myself and sat with victims as they filed a police report. You really went full assumption into who you think I am. I am not naive, but I am realistic.

I am blessed to know many real, genuine Christians. Genuine Christians know they are sinners who need the help of God. They are kind because God has been kind to them. There will always be tares with the wheat. There will be men who come in the name of Jesus and are deceivers. There will never be a church that comes close to being perfect.

Change is not going to happen immediately. I’m glad that God is patient with how quickly He expects me to change. I can’t be perfect right now, but I can try to make progress in that direction. Yes, Christians are a changed people, only by the grace of God. God changes us very, very slowly. We can live for Christ every day and still fall short.

It takes a long time to change culture, often decades. God kept the Children of Israel in the wilderness for 40 years because that’s how long it took them to become what He wanted them to be. The best we can do is be the change we want to see and to maintain pressure of high standards on the ministry because there will be no change without constant pressure.

In the future, I sincerely hope you treat people with all due respect, even if you disagree with them. Everyone has differing life experiences and we should be able to respectfully disagree.

    4. Really!!!!! Really??? Your going to say this!!!!
Go back in the past….read about Ruben Mata, he was a WORKER!!! he was in California when I was growing up. He got 36 or so years jail sentence FOR CHILD RAPE!!!!..Have you forgotten about that….CSA has been going on for way over 50 plus years!!!! How much time do they need????

    5. The good workers are afraid to stand up to the overseers who aren’t handling things properly, but that’s what needs to happen. If they indeed are good workers and LOVE souls, they need to stand up for what is right!

    6. Larae: Your last question is scary? Are you taking the stand that the “behavior” of the abused needs to change? Do they need to tell their brain nothing is wrong. AND all of the short circuits: never happened? May I explain to you that that damage is hard wired and in constant ‘defense mode’!
And if you are taking the stand
that the ministry can’t change on a dime? As it has only been a matter of months? Please check the DATE of his death. That is when the “living knew and hid this”. Only the desperate need of the abuse; broke forth from the DARKNESS that has been so successfully kept: not by just one twisted mind but by numberless. And not for just 9 months — but for “decades and decades”. And the amazing thing IS: They did not know the depravity and twisted minds that allowed such inhuman abuse WAS “WRONG”?
That is why such great lengths and darkness covered with ‘misinformation’ was and still is happening. Remember this CHANGE is NOT being made voluntarily! This is “NOT correct a mistake we erringly made”. This is not their choice. This is a demand!!! OR ELSE! So they are bowing down to show criminal Court – I am really trying.
And are trying to convince you; Don’t run – stay!
Like: “I am behind on answering your E-Mails and Texts because I am so important and I never had to account “to you” for anything; Why would I spend my important TIME on you now.” BUT my travels are more important than you who pay for all of it.
AND Larae; You are disappointed in the Tone of the comments: Just try to understand the Damage has been wide and Deep.
If just one of the “workers” understood because they were able to actually read God’s very Word as written::: they would immediately be removed for preaching the wrong “Doctrine”; that is actually written in OUR Holy Bibles. Yes, that has happened!
Larae: Does this seem harsh? Yes, it is! And even tho, you catch more ants with honey: God has written His mind and Will; it will Not change to suit anyones imagination. So grab your Bible and desperately read as written.
To those workers who you feel are doing their best; encourage them to honestly read the “apostles Doctrine” in Acts 2:42 – :46 and explain why chapters 3:, 4:; 5:; all record all “believers” did the apostles Doctrine.
Why are they not preaching Acts 2:14 – :36 as did the 12 apostles? And then write again your thoughts to this Wingsfortruth. Maybe this is “Tough Love”.

    7. Do you live under a rock? Time to change….. how about when was it ever ok to mess with young children, take advantage of a position of responsibility
Evil is just that Dean Brewer knew he was doing wrong and CHOOSES to again and again do the same thing…. if your defending such actions are you not part of why and how this happend? Take your head out of the sand wake up observe and take note. Be better

  4. As usual, Rob’s words are nice and do not match his actions.
A concerned sister worker on his staff in California emailed him about how things are being handled in his area, and she was fired.

    1. @anonymous: wow, please be careful what you say. That is not what happened. He thought she was resigning – it was a miscommunication that she later clarified.

As a woman who came of age in a male-dominated environment (the military) I can say that men don’t understand a lot of what women say because we’re too wordy and indirect (and often too emotional as well). Because of my time in the military I learned to be direct and assertive and it has made communication with men much simpler. My advice is for that sister to go back and have an in-person or telephone conversation with an intermediary present who can be sure Rob understands what she’s saying. There’s way too much room for miscommunication and misunderstanding in written communication.

      1. Larae, I appreciate your points and agree that clear communication is important, but applying different values to stereotypically gendered behaviors just perpetuates the misogyny that is a big part of why we’re in this mess.

Yes, some communication styles might be “too wordy and indirect” for a given audience, but they’re very effective for other audiences. In turn, some audiences can be too impatient and lack the ability to appreciate nuance. Where there are gendered differences in behavior, women aren’t always wrong and men right.

Good communication goes both ways. We should all strive to deliver messages in a way that reaches our intended audience. But also, people (especially those in positions of authority) need to be able to listen and interpret correctly.

      2. We don’t need to agree on whether or not the term “fired” is appropriate. The facts speak for themselves:

Fact 1: A sister worker shared her concerns with her overseer, Rob Newman
Fact 2: Said sister worker no longer has a place in the work in California, unless something changed today that we are unaware of

Larae, I read the rest of your messages here. I lovingly encourage you to engage in further conversation with those who have been harmed by workers and friends in our fellowship. I think you would find it most interesting indeed.

      3. Again your way off saw this sister at boring conv. There was no doubt to her reason for getting fired. Rob is a poser and a looser,

  5. Some thoughts
Give him credit for reaching out but I feel he should continue to do so. Continued communication would be helpful.
While forming a “group” seemingly represents a shift that wouldn’t have been considered just 5 months ago you wonder what he means by “responsible friends”. The same “superior saints” that they trusted to keep all this abuse secret for years? I would hope this group wouldn’t just be made up of those that kiss the diary side of the ministry. Otherwise moving forward is just back to backward. Remember these are the same people that will run to the workers with the weightier matters such as pants (women), beards, TV, the carelessly placed romance novel and the Coors Light bottle cap found on your porch.
Guidelines and documents are okay but it won’t stop the slime balls and it doesn’t address those that knew of abuse and said nothing. My guess is that the ministry knows of other abusers but are just waiting for someone to call them on it. Zero tolerance means nothing until that is addressed.
Finally you can bet the farm that each letter or every move from Rob is thoroughly proofed through Dale Schultz. There will be no meaningful movement until DS is either kicked out or steps down.

    1. I’m confused on what people want. Dale is in Atlantic Canada, no longer an overseer. How can he step down further without leaving the work? Same with Barry. They have already stepped down.

      1. I wasn’t aware any of the uberseers had stepped down. However, I think you answered your own question. They need to leave the work. As long as they are in the work, there are those who will look to them as authorities on something.

      2. You aren’t aware? You told us everything we need to know about you. The letter didn’t ask them to leave the work. It asked them to step down. Two of the three have.

      3. It would help a lot of people if there was a general letter sent to the “Saints or Friendly’s as we are called” that would actually confirm that said ” Overseers” have been removed or stepped down.

Call it good faith…. that means something in the business world of old.

    2. My concern is that if their communication always goes straight to online forums, that’s going to discourage future open communication – especially when their communication is dissected and criticized in this way.

    3. I interpreted his comment regarding the group to be a combination of concerned friends and ones whose professional occupation would lend itself to being of use in this situation – similar to the workshops put on by HR and psychology professionals in MN/IA.

  6. Just a reminder….all head workers and overseers knew of the Dean Bruer case months before they told “the public”. They weren’t going to say anything about it. They were going to keep this quiet too. Not until Cynthia, Sheri and Lauren were going to break it to the public that’s when Doyle and other overseers sought strategy to get ahead of it and tell us saints who are much lesser than brother workers. They were going to keep all this quiet too as not to disturb the fellowship. As to keep things hidden. To keep those who have been suffering to suffer a little longer. So that they can keep going on happily home to home, convention to convention, gospel meeting to gospel meeting. To keep their positions on high. To keep themselves from doing Gods work, hard work, necessary work to protect their sheep they love and care for so much. Better to keep it quiet than work at some of the heaviest issues. These aren’t men. These boys walk away from heavy lifting. Sweep the dirt under the rug. Keep their seat on the carousel. They complain when the saints are hard on them and press them for change. They weren’t going to tell us.
You’re going to tell me, “the adversary is busy”? You’re going to tell me “this is satans work”? If it was satans work why didn’t you alert us that Satan is in the sheep pen as soon as you found out? Nope. You were hoping this adversary would walk out the way he came in. I strongly detest the language that Satan is trying to “sow doubt and fear” but yet you’re letting satan’s minions back into fellowship. What? Zero tolerance? What? Sounds like it means “some tolerance” if we’re allowing GS back into meetings in CA.
This whole fellowship is such an odd simulation that’s worked for almost 200 years. We trust in our overseers as if they’re prophets. Even though three of these overseers have stepped down for CHILD SEX ABUSE. Let’s stop abbreviating it to CSA to ameliorate the horrendous acts that these are. “BUT WHAT ABOUT KING DAVID AND THE ABUSE CHILDREN SUFFERED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT”…whatever that means…if you’re justifying child abuse in todays world, you’re dead to me. Not another word should come from these unqualified men at the top. Stop praying about it. If this was so so so important in this fellowship then God would answer your prayers immediately. Again, they weren’t going to tell us about Dean. They had to.
The above letter by Rob and his “helpers” who are so unqualified should be signed as.:
    Sorry that you found out.

  7. I can confirm Dale Sheltz is listed in Atlantic Canada and very much continuing with his “overseer” status. He is very involved in meetings held all spring with many “overseers” coming from many areas for extended periods under the usual cover of “visiting worker” having top level meetings daily during convention and preparations.
    Same for Barry Barclay.
    Same for Ray H.
All three together. With many others of the exact mindset. Eastern Canada was overseer wonderland all spring.
They are not to be questioned or challenged. Supreme “overseers”. “Overseer” for life. Whatever lesser place they hope you think they are taking.
As for how long they shielded the news about Brewer? (After his death. Not including the years prior).
June, July, August, September, October, November, December, January, into February.
But now they really want to be transparent.
    I’m sure that’s sincere too.
Just like they care about victims.

    1. It appears that the East is a cesspool !!!!!!!!???????
People that divorce in the West can move to the East and there they can to part in the meetings…..even have
a meeting in their home…..why? because the ministry , elders and others are busy destroying our children.
What is wrong with the East Coast mentally?
Years and years of CSA….. Know CSA in families…. generations of CSA…….Know the friendlies and workers!!!!!!!!
Will fire and brimstone be God’s only way to cleanse the wrong? as in Sodom Gormara?
So called Overseers, Friends, act before you lose your salivation..maybe it’s already tooooo late already.
Also people ask the question ” Why don’t the friends report to the law?
Because it’s been ingrained in us since early childhood that God’s people don’t go to the law they go to the workers with their toubles”…
That didn’t turn out right did it?
Placing to much hope and confidence in the Ministry.
      Be in time
Hopefully PEOPLE wake up and act on this diabolical madness, before the God’s evil day comes.

  8. Larae, if the fellowship in general was God led there would not have been the need for change concerning CSA and SA, they would have handled it appropriately.Would these atrocities still be present if they did, sadly yes but at a much lower incidence, perputrators would clearly know the consequences and be to scared to commit such atrocities.
These changes now is because of pressure from inside and outside the fellowship, it didn’t come because these leaders felt convicted in their hearts, I doubt if trust can be repaired in this fellowship.

    1. I agree with all of that. We thought we had a Spirit-led ministry, but that can’t possibly be true, because the Spirit of God would not ignore the cries of wounded sheep. There are immense pressures on the ministry to change, and we need to maintain that pressure. We have more hope of changing it from within than without. However, I do know many people who will be ready to jump ship if we don’t see significant progress in fixing the system that allowed these abuses to continue and propagate for decades.

      1. Larae “we have more hope of changing it from the inside than from the outside” It would seem that way, and I have always felt this as well but I’m not sure anymore.
Jesus stood and wept over JERUSALEM, “ how often I would’ve gathered you as a hen doth gather her chicks, and ye would not”
He did all that He could, He died for them, it mattered not. He couldn’t change their minds or their hearts.
Sometimes people are beyond listening or changing , there are different reasons, but mostly it’s having to do with self.
Jesus said now your house is left unto you desolate, and he moved on, not because He didn’t care, but because they didn’t.
Perhaps it’s time to move on, if JESUS couldn’t change hearts, can we?
I’m not advocating giving up but we don’t have to stay under corrupt leadership, we can work from the outside.

      2. It’s good to stay in if that’s how you feel moved but be aware the workers are using your continued attendance as proof that everything is ok.
We felt moved to separate from the ministry to send a signal that everything is not ok. We still love you all and respect all who feel moved to stay.

  9. Overseer, show us with your actions that there is zero tolerance to protect our community and our children.
Jim Price the overseer in Ecuador cover up child sexual abuse .
Richard Harbur had a police restraining order because he cover up child sexual abuse also .
Scott Porter was the responsible worker in Ecuador in the field were child sexual abuse happened and he did the same cover up
    child sexual abuse .
The predator was giving the “privilege” to had Sunday morning meeting at his home and partake of the emblems despite of being a raper and sexual abuser of many children .
This “privilege” was giving by Jim , Richard and Scott.
FYI , No more privilege is granted to this evil man.
Overseer, Show us that there is ZERO TOLERANCE OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE to protect our community and children all over the world.

  10. Let’s be honest. The reason for most of the abuse is due to secrecy. Get rid of secrecy, and we are left with transparency. A very large part of all the abuse that has taken place since the beginning of our fellowship in the early 1900s would not have been possible with total transparency. Finances being one of the most important. The problem is, a lot of the top of the hierarchy’s power would not be possible without the secrecy. Humans do not want to give up their power. The top distribute power to those below them. Top overseers – Dale Schultz & Company, to those below them..Rob Newman & “helpers”…..the rest of the Worker…to the Elders…..etc etc…All the scrambling, and changes we are witnessing are not because these overseers and workers just found out about all of the abuse. We ALL know that they have known about it for years. They are making these changes because they are forced to. They ONLY make changes that they are forced to make. Led by the Spirit? Um, I doubt it. They would have been led a long time ago. What we all need to do to REALLY alleviate MOST of the problems within the “Truth” , and REALLY make a difference is demand TOTAL TRANPARENCY. Why why why….does everything…including finances have to be a secret? I question the motives of anyone that doesn’t want total transparency. You notice that Rob, Dale or any of the others don’t even mention finances….. Why? Didn’t Paul pass the purse around in front of everyone, and told them exactly where the money was going? Ironically, not to the “Workers”.
There are some very easy ways to track all finances.
If all intensions are on the up and up, and we REALLY want to rid of the many problems…..then lets have TOTAL TRANPERANCY. “Transparency” means…for everyone to see, not just a few hand picked Sycophants.

  11. Born & Raised, your thoughts are the reality of the organization, “The problem is, a lot of the top of the hierarchy’s power would not be possible without the secrecy. Humans do not want to give up their power”. You mentioned, “Didn’t Paul pass the purse around in front of everyone, and told them exactly where the money was going? Ironically, not to the “Workers”.” John 12:5, 6 also notes Judas said, “Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It was worth a year’s wages. He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the money bag he used to help himself to what was put into it”. The top three holding the money bag, along with the head workers, do not want accountability, or transparency. Look at Dean Baurer. These top guys most likely wouldn’t want you to see the history on their lap tops either. Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil”.
