Curtis Mason Jacobsen was in the work on the Oregon USA staff at the time of the abuse and subsequent arrest.
He was charged in February 1997 with 2 counts of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree and pleaded guilty to 1 count in March 1997.
The parents of the victim advised the court that they thought Curtis was not a habitual offender and that it was an isolated one-time offense, asking that the court show mercy and leniency.
Update 2023
WINGS has been provided with a 2013 Court Order recording that Curtis Jacobsen
- Completed sex offender treatment
- Does not pose a threat to the safety of the public
- No longer has to report as a Sex Offender
and that the victim does not object to this relief.
Curtis is a man with a beautiful spirit, and I have observed his carefulness to not place himself or others in a vulnerable position.
