Oregon/S. Idaho/Wyoming/Montana overseer Doyle Smith has reported that Glenn Sparks is ‘stepping away’ due to allegations of abuse. Glenn has been a worker since approximately 1963, in Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Florida, and Georgia.

Dear Friends,
This finds Lyle and I in the Boise area for a few more weeks. We have meetings scheduled the next month in Mountain Home on Sundays and continue here in Meridian on Wed. nights. We are MOST thankful for our loyal listeners.
I’m sorry to have to include the news that follows: An allegation of abuse against Glenn Sparks has surfaced regarding an incident that reportedly happened many years ago in Oregon. In response, this was immediately reported to authorities, and Glenn has stepped away from the work and meetings pending a legal investigation. We respect survivors, and will do all we can to support them. If anyone has any further information please contact legal authorities.
There are some “cloudy” circumstances involved in this case that need to be sorted out. so we would plead, please don’t rush to judgment. Meanwhile, we are being very cautious and will continue to do so as long as there is any question about safety.
Our time in the Boise valley is nearing conclusion. I look forward to having some time with the Montana and Wyoming workers during their preparations and will be at two conventions there – Ronan before Parma and Cody after Parma. We look forward to working closely with Montana and Wyoming at least for the foreseeable future. My first 10 years in the work were in Montana and N. Wyoming, so I DO look forward to spending some time over that way again.
We read a lot about the “Comforter” the next 3 weeks in John…the Comforter/the Spirit that will guide us into all truth and will be a very loyal support to everything Jesus lived and taught. I was glad to have it explained to me when I was in Greece that the Greek word used for “Comforter” – “Parakletos” – is a word that combines a preposition meaning – “at the side of” and the verb “to call”. So, the composite word literally means, someone who is staying at your side, available to be called when needed. It is easy to “invest” a lot of time, heart, strength, etc. in other places besides prayer sometimes. It has been good to be reminded, God is constantly and anxiously waiting for us to bring every need and concern to Him knowing He has the best answers by far. He’s waiting to be called, wants to be THE answer.

Those words and promises in John, regardless of how touching they are: ARE WRITTEN to that Nation of Israel to whom Jesus was sending the 12 apostles to bring that Nation of Israel “back to God.”

Yes, Jesus promised the 12 – when he would leave them, he would send the the Holy Spirit. That is recorded in John 20:21 – :22. In John 21:, we see written that Jesus asks – demands that they :feed my Lambs and feed my Sheep. The letters written by James, Peter and John show that those three were very careful and correct to feed and try to encourage those “Kingdom ‘believers’ “that Jesus is the Christ” of that Jewish Nation. John 20: 31 But these(signs :30) are written, that believing ye might “HAVE life” through His “””name”””.((That is and was Jesus Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth to that Nation of Israel))! They must accept and believe “who Jesus was = their Messiah and King!!
That is a magnificent power given to Peter and the 11. We do not read of the 12 bumbling and stumbling as we do before Acts. They went about with all the “Old Testament” prophesies and guided their converts exactly as Jesus had taught in the 4 Gospels.
Repent for Acts 2:23 and :36 LET ALL the House of Israel “”know” that same Jesus whom ye have “”crucified”” both Lord and Christ!
Therefore Acts 2:38 Repent and Be washed of your sins: be cleansed =Be Baptized.
Acts 2: 44 – :45 Do the Law and prophets = Matthew 19:16. for eternal life – :17 – :20 ; Sell all 19:21 = Acts 2:45, etc.. and Acts 2:46 Do the Levitical Law of Moses: continuing daily with one accord in the temple…
Yes, evidence is in Acts 1: – 12: they had the Holy Spirit guiding them.
Acts 15:1 – :17 and Galatians 2:11 – :14 shows they “no longer had that Guiding Spirit”. They are bumbling ‘again’! After that Nation of Israel rejected the third person of the Godhead – the ‘Holy Spirit’: Acts 7:55 – :60; (Matthew 12:31 – :32)God withdrew his Gospel of Israel’s perfect, coming promised Kingdom of Heaven on Earth ‘for a season’; which the 12 peached to Israel..
julie; you will really like the “power of God” in the Gospel of the Grace of of God is given to Paul to preach. This is when God raised-up Paul to preach the Good-News of the grace of God according to ‘when God the Father raised Jesus from the dead to newness of life. That is the very ‘Power of God’ to all who believe and trust “THAT God through the ‘faith of Christ’ gives (BUT NOW) God’s Grace to ALL them that ‘believe’ = (1 Corinthians 15:1 – :4) are Baptized with the Holy Spirit = Ephesians 1:12-13. This ‘baptism’ by the Holy Spirit causes something NEVER RECORDED before in all of scripture: == Jesus Christ the Lord; God, the Son ‘dwells in our very person’. We each as individuals are “in-dwelt’ with Christ!!!
Yes, Jullie: what Great news: Ephesians 1:22 – :23 and Colossians 1:18 – :19 Now we have Christ as the head of the ‘church’ WHICH is Christ’s body. == Eph.1:23. the “fulness of Christ” that filleth all in all.
This is the very ” Good News = Gospel of the Grace of God given to Paul to preach. 1 Timothy 1:11 – :16. Explained in Ephesians 3:1-:9. The result is in Romans 3:21 – BUT NOW and Ephesians 2:4-:9 – But God!
This is the “promise” of God to all the world, Now! That Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth HAS been put on-hold for God’s chosen Nation of Israel. UNTIL = Romans 11:25 – :27
So trying to follow Jesus in the ‘flesh’ as he walked on this earth to bring that Nation of Israel back to Himself IS FUTILE.
It is the “Risen Christ” and the good-news=Gospel of the Grace of God to all man kind, now gives us The very Holy Spirit which Baptizes us with-outhands- wherein also “”ye are risen with Christ “through the “”operation of God, who Hath “raised Him from the dead” – Colossians 2:9 – :14
Yes, we sooo agree with you in THAT God and His WORD are “reliable”. It is our responsibility to God to ”KNOW” His Word as it is OUR Armour against the “wiles of the “”Devil””! Ephesians 6:11, :17
Just this “armour” Eph.6:17, alone, would have saved us from this deep chasm we allowed ourselves to be in NOW!
Doyle Smith, worker Glen Sparks is involved with something where, “There are some “cloudy” circumstances involved in this case that need to be sorted out”? Let’s hear from worker Glen Sparks to help clarify the situation so it is no longer cloudy.
If I was painted with, “an incident”, I would not want to wait to clear my name. Unless my lawyer advised me otherwise. Which is most likely the case here. Meaning, it is not so cloudy.
Also, Doyle Smith, next time you send out a letter, cut right to the subject and leave out the update on “meetings”. People need a break, and a few less meetings would be a good thing. Thanks for your time.
Doyle, I thought better of you. I am very disappointed with your choice of wording which mentions years ago, different state, “cloudy” circumstances, don’t rush to judge. These minimize the allegation and the victim, who the paragraph before you say you respect and support. I am also a victim of Child Sexual Abuse within the 2x2s and if I were to read those words about my perpetrator, I would not feel respected or supported at all. Quite the opposite.
Overseer Doyle stated “please don’t rush to judgement” regarding CSA/SA allegations (he does not specify which) against Worker Glenn. Wonder why most all workers and cult members are then so immediately judgmental on any non-cult member that does not met there approval, such as any and all Christians?
