I have made the decision to step away from my responsibilities as an overseer and my active part in our Lord’s Ministry here in Montana & Wyoming.

You folks have been very dear these days and I want to send this out to you before It goes viral on the internet.
John & I are yet in Bozeman but we will be traveling up to GF this afternoon.
I have had some very nice and encouraging visits here these days.
At this time I really don’t know what the future holds for both John & me.
Bui we will take one day at a time. Keeping our eyes lifted to the One that has created all things and has planned to best for each one of us.
I apologize again for how this adds to each of your stress and grief at this time. humbly & sincerely yours

Scott’s letters show how much he only thinks of himself. You didn’t just look at “soft porn”…it was FAR worse, AND it’s NOT just about YOU!!
You have harmed the congretation’s reputations in their communities, and bolstered a distrust in us towards the head workers/overseers, and worst of all…YOU have allowed harm towards children to be brushed off, and have acted in a dispicable manner. You haven’t offered ANY help to the victims or their families…that’s the lowest of low!

I agree, I was mocking his self justification…from his first letter. To me, NOTHING that comes out of his mouth is genuine or honest.
Plus, Rauscher gets “professional help” for his porn addiction that is paid for by the cult, while he and the Montana dirty dozen did nothing to help the Corfield victims. What a disgrace.
Wanted to add that Rauscher is getting professional help for an addiction that is HIS own fault. Cult CSA and SA victims did nothing to cause the harm done to them by the likes of Corfield and his cronies, but need to pay for their help out of their own pockets, IF they can afford it.
Scott Rauscher says,

How is John’s future tied to Scott’s? I understand Scott Rauscher is to be the senior worker and “training” John how to be a worker and how a worker is to behave, but Scott Rauscher acts like their future is together, as if they’re married. These two sound more like Bonnie and Clyde running from the law than someone you read about in the Bible!
Then Scott Rauscher states, “I apologize again for how this adds to each of your stress and grief at this time. humbly & sincerely yours…”
If Scott Rauscher is so humble why does he want to keep adding to our “stress and grief”? Scott Rauscher is a narcissists who think the world revolves around HIM!
Just go away once and for all Scott Rauscher and finally stop our stress and grief with your endless letters, and apologizes. It’s obvious you’re very comfortable with your lifestyle, but that is not the point. Just leave, please. John can be trained by someone else.
JustLeave, John is rather elderly himself, not a new worker by any means.
Carol, it would seem that elderly John could school Scott Rauscher. You’re never to old to learn.
@Carol Benjamin – exactly! But, SR has so much pride, that he just can’t help himself. Why he was left to show anyone ANYTHING is beyond my comprehension. Now there’s another ding to my trust in the two who were supposed to handle things! Why are these men SO DENSE!!
Just toss the abusers out! ALL of them. The Sheep/lambs will survive just fine, because we still have the Shepherd. The one these men ran off!!
