WINGS Note: A CSA/SA task force was formed by some friends this summer, in part because it was noticed that some regions were creating CSA policies quickly and other regions were resisting having any policy. So they formed a group to study best practices (and worst practices) and consult experts and research to take a science and fact based approach towards policy construction. The Safe Church Task Force has asked WINGS to post their material.

The Safe Church Task Force came together this summer to identify what policy elements should be included in a safe church policy and what loopholes or “negative” policy elements should be avoided. The Task Force studied a wide range of external research, science, and reports from other organizations, including from various churches, youth-serving organizations, athletic groups, published academic research, as well as through direct conversations with survivors, experts, and other sources.
We are publishing our version 1.0 work product, in two files:

It’s probably best to go through the slide deck first, as it gives the background and gives the lead-in for the worksheet file, which is more actionable.
It is our hope that these findings will be considered as new policies are developed and existing policies strengthened, in order to end the abuse and provide healing for the survivors and the church at large.
We now move to the Engagement Phase of our effort. All members of the team (who are listed on slide 2 of the slide deck) would be happy to help support regional efforts to either implement policies or to improve existing policies. It would be awesome is every worker, elder and friend in the fellowship would view the zoom call.
Is this leading to organized religion of God’s Way.
The CCF folks are trying. But they didn’t even show up for convention here in Georgia. Guess that zoom call was more important. We will not let them move us from our purpose.
This is just another spreadsheet and bullet points that’s not going to make real changes in God’s people. Either we’re honest and want to be led by the Spirit or we can follow guidelines by a random task force. It’s mind boggling how much effort goes into these types of projects. We can all do our part in our own lives with real people who need help and support. Change comes from God not special task forces. How many years were the children of Israel wondering in the wilderness? God was available and very near when they chose Him.
Rose: What is God’s Way? What does your Holy Bible explain to each and every person who is able to READ and LEARN. Yes, It takes deep profound desire, study and learning. BUT you can do it.
You can completely trust someone else or you can actually read what and to whom and WHY Jesus came to bring God’s Chosen Back to God.
They would NOT, and have NOT, YET! It is your Salvation!

A hopeful friend: Even after the Children wandered in the Wilderness; and God by Joshua led the 12 Tribes into their Promised Land in Israel and distributed their respective areas of promised Land to their ownership: their Sins were so GREAT – that God turned from them for 400 years.
Isaiah 1:10 – :15; Result was Amos 8:11 – :13
This is the change God which came from God!
WHY? They knew not God and refused to live by God’s Doctrine of His Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. What Doctrine did they follow?
The Doctrine of worshipping gods and goddess – even so far as sacrificing their very OWN children to them. THEY built the Fire – They stoked the Fire to make it even hotter, before they: with their very own Hands cast their own Children into the Fire in “obedience ” to their gods and goddess.
How far will you go to “obey” those you think have “Rule over you”?
How far will you go and How much hurt will your children need to endure?
A Task Force: or a free reigning ministry: is only as dependable as is their “Doctrine”. When either are unable to know or understand what God has
(1 Peter 1:11 or 2 Peter 1:21) left on record for Our Learning – Romans 15:4; then are also unable to read and understand what has been left on record for our “obedience”; “THEN ALL THEIR EFFORTS ARE FUTILE”! in the “eyes” of God.
Please; each one of you: If you are concerned about God’s Holy Spirit;
IF you are concerned about God’s Way: Read, Study and Learn
what God has actually recorded in His Holy Bible.
And pray God will open our understanding.
