My husband and I would like to share our story and the struggles we have faced. Our main goal in sharing this story with you is to provide encouragement to the families of victims and survivors alike letting them know that they are not alone. We firmly believe that God sees everything and we are grateful that we can see him working to purify His kingdom and prepare His chosen bride.
Both my husband and I are from Iowa, and it was through a high school friend that my husband was introduced to meetings.
My husband and I made the decision to move from Iowa to Pontotoc, Mississippi with the hope of building a new life for ourselves and our children. We purchased an acreage and built a new house, eager to establish our own roots. However, our journey took a devastating turn when we discovered that George Garner [deceased], a perpetrator, had been abusing our oldest daughter from the age of 9 until she was 13. It was a shocking betrayal, as we had trusted these individuals and welcomed them into our home as fellow believers.
It took two years for George Garner to be convicted and sentenced to a state prison in Mississippi. During this time, the overseer of Mississippi, asked us to show mercy, forgiveness, and compassion, requesting that George Garner receive only a two-year sentence for his crimes of child sexual abuse (CSA). The impact of the abuse on our daughter was profound, and the acts committed against her were deeply unsettling. Nonetheless, we managed to support our daughter to the best of our abilities through this difficult period.
Unfortunately, the challenges did not end there. George’s wife expressed a desire to return to meetings, our meetings, which caused great distress for us. We brought this issue to the overseer once again, expressing our concerns, but were met with a request to be considerate and compassionate. George’s wife would frequently request hymns to be sung on behalf of George, the man who had abused our daughter. This was infuriating and highly inappropriate, to say the least.
Upon his release from prison, George Garner expressed a desire to return to meetings as well. Our meeting. We once again confronted the overseer about the legality and ethics of this decision. To our dismay, he advised us that as foreigners in the area, it would be best for us to leave our meeting and move away. Furthermore, when we arrived at our convention that year we were asked to leave because George Garner’s family felt “uncomfortable” with us there. Being asked to leave our meeting and home convention to accommodate a convicted child molester attending these events was deeply troubling and unacceptable.
The overseer’s lack of sound judgment and respect towards us was disheartening. Additionally, during this same timeframe, it came to light that he himself was engaged in an affair with one of the friends’ wives in the area. This further eroded our trust and confidence in his leadership. It is not in line with the teachings of the Bible, which call for a good report and condemn such immoral behavior.
Simply moving individuals around that have committed immoral acts or condoned unthinkable assaults cannot be the solution. It is important we change our culture and address these issues with integrity and accountability. We have kept this story to ourselves for 25 years, but now feel compelled to share our experience with others. We ask for your prayers and support, not just for us, but for all those who have faced similar struggles. Thank you for taking the time to listen to our story.

One thing that comes up for me in the discussions about sheep and wolves is that it’s not as simple as individual wolves. The system is a wolf. The system is harmful. Even if you removed every single person who abused or enabled abuse, the system would still recreate the same conditions that allowed abuse to happen and to continue unabated. The system would continue to provide many opportunities for emotional and spiritual abuse.
Agreeing 100% with Beholder — Pedos are scum and should be treated as such!l … Why does this whole story sound so familiar?!… WFT notes: “the Mississippi overseer at that time was George Lee, who is now overseer of Florida”. Oh, that is it!!! That is why this sounds so familar! ….The overseer in Michigan did the exact same thing as this overseer in Mississippi! He just moved the pedos around as if they were chess pieces. JEROME FRANDLE WAS THE HEAD WORKER IN MICHIGAN AND WAS ARRESTED AND CONVICTED for failure to report CHILD SEX ABUSE of which HE had knowledge! Jerome Frandle, with mug shot and all, served time and then was moved down a couple of states to be the overseer of Tennessee and Kentucky. It’s just amazing what a cesspool the ” truth religion ” has come to be. The victims are totally expendable, or of little significance when compared to the overall purpose, and therefore able to be abandoned, when it comes to protecting the sexual predators, the George Garners, and even MORE IMPORTANTLY, protecting the BIG OVERSEERS, the Rob Eberhardt and Jerome Frandles. Don’t mess with those corrupt overseers, though, who have shown a willingness to act dishonestly, because otherwise they won’t be able to keep stirring up the cesspool! And, it is a cesspool. Are they following Jesus Christ? Who’s that?
My prayers are with you and all who have been wronged by those in power. For the life of me, I fail to understand why the cries of His little ones continue to fall on deaf ears. God knows and reserves a special place in hell for those who call good evil and evil good.

My thoughts exactly, this family endured hell on earth from the ” The Top ” God is knows what happened and will deal with it in His time even thou I want it done NOW.
This situation should Never have happened in “The Way ” Gods people should be so much better then “The World” as we’re told on a constant bases!
The indignities that they have suffered are horrible and I feel for them, I walked in ttheir shoes. Have rightous anger!

I’m so sorry to hear about the horrendous experiences you and your family endured. The perpetrator should have served a jail term as long as the law allowed. But even beyond that, George Lee needs to step down from the work. His behavior was heartless to have subjected you and your family to continual trauma from the presence of the perpetrator’s wife and the perpetrator himself. To have asked you to move away in order to accommodate a criminal is just totally unconscionable, reckless and disgraceful.
I only regret that you were not able to put your foot down and refuse to have the criminal or his wife in your home. What a violation of your autonomy!
What God could in any stretch of the imagination tell George Lee that anything he did was Godly or Spirit-led? That is not the God he and others preach from the platform. Their words now ring hollow.
As others have said, this is absolute corruption! I don’t see how this fellowship can be cleansed if men like George Lee are still allowed to preach the gospel and continue to occupy people’s homes. They must be removed. Period. These are not mistakes. These are pervasive patterns that must be broken.
Why would anyone want to listen the Lee’s message! Boycott these workers! Everyone stop listening to Them!!!!
Just FYI – George Lee is not able to be an overseer anymore. Kelvin Naef is the overseer for FL/GA/SC currently.
“The system is a wolf”. Well said, Skip! In Matthew 7:24-27 it tells to: Build Your House on the Rock. Trouble is the house, or system, was founded by William Irvine, a very flawed man. Now these verses make more sense than ever, “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does NOT do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” People/ workers/ head workers hear the Words of God; and they have shown they do not do them. God doesn’t lie. The winds are blowing against this house, “and great was the fall of it”. This house was founded on the sand by William Irvine.
Skip and For Christ: The system is a “WOLF”. And it was built on the “sand”. Can one imagine?: 3 ladies just happened to come together in one place at the exact same time THAT “facts” came together and…… this is ALL the result!
We just SHOUT “Thank You”!; from our secrete place. AND countless multitudes have been silenced. We ALL understand, why!; even tho we do not know your ‘OWN TRUTH’! We do know the result!
In quiet, recesses of your mind, GO TO The Record God has left for our learning. Begin with Acts 2:42-:46. WHAT did those 3000(yes, 3 thousand) “devout Jews” who heard Peter’s Words; DO?
You read the “Apostles Doctrine”. Is that NOW your Doctrine?
Is that your “Doctrine” you were taught when you FIRST Believed?
When you are honest enough to quit saying BUT that is what we were taught;
and open your mind to what God has really ‘left on record for our learning’; then and only then!; will God be able to teach you HIS “mind and will” to teach you what is God’s Grace NOW for your believing and living!
Is this easy? No, and it is brutal! WHY? Because 2×2’s was our complete Life and being!, as we are sure it was yours; and maybe still is yours as you try to “fix” and “heal” what is 2 Corinthians 11:13 – :15; :14 — And no marvel: WHY?
for Satan’himself’ is “transformed into an “”angel of light””. We know because we were there. GRAB your ‘boot straps’, God through His Word; will give you understanding. With a flash of understanding, NO: with hard, unrelenting, deep commitment to actually read God’s Word as written.
And the very words of Peter 30 some years later as he sought to help his converts in their deep distress of longing for Jesus return as Jesus had promised (1st and 2nd letter of Peter) to those believing Jews. 2 Peter 3:15-:16
Peter explains why! :15 it is the “long-suffering of our Lord” IS “salvation”: even as “Paul” according to the “wisdom” given unto him (Ephesians 3:1-:9)

Remember: We Hold your Hand and Heart! It is a journey out of darkness.

I am so sorry that you had to wait 25 years for validation, that what your daughter and your family experienced should NEVER have happened. This is not at all, the ministry that Jesus intended, to share the Gospel to all corners of the earth. This is a system controlled BY men, FOR men, who have NO care for individual people. This is a total desecration of God’s will for mankind! I believe there are many workers with pure hearts and motives, but they have an upstream battle to accomplish their mission, within this corrupt system!!

May also want to make double sure there is permission for it to be shared here. The person that wrote the letter did not intend for it to be on the CCF app and it ended up there without permission. Not sure who sent you the copy! The victims family has been hurt over the years and shouldn’t be hurt anymore with sharing a letter without permission(possibly).
This is such a sad letter. So much failure! I can’t understand what’s causing these overseers to not SEE the wrong and what SHOULD be done, and I don’t
know what it is that keeps parents from not immediately contacting the police when they learn of such heinous behavior. But, it seems too many are just leaning on another human (overseer)…they have very little to no training.
Henoffour, I agree with you, a truly sad story on so many fronts. The one bright spot is reading about a family who stood up for their daughter, went to the authorities and had this man arrested and jailed for his heinous crime.
Henoffour, you ask why don’t people report these crimes to the authorities? Why just tell the workers? Very good questions we all need to ask. I can’t say that I have even heard many rumors about any of these cases over the years. Certainly nothing from a victim or anyone they told it to. There are several who have posted that they knew about IH and his crimes. They talk about going to the workers. They tell us the workers did nothing. My first question is why didn’t they go to the proper authorities who could properly investigate an accusation and jail the person? The workers have no power to get such an individual off the street and away from all children. My second question is what did they really know for sure about the crime? Was it first hand information from the victim or the abuser? Perhaps they saw it happen? Or did they just hear that so and so heard so and so say it happened. If the workers didn’t believe, did the authorities believe? If the workers heard it from the victim, shame on the. If we are spreading unsubstantiated rumors, shame on us. We have all no doubt played the game of sitting in a circle and the first person whispers a statement to the next person and on it goes around the room. When it gets back to the first person the statement is unrecognizable. Please only speak the facts here, not what you heard so and so say. Thank you.
I feel I held the Shame to long and decided that the shame is not on the victims the SHAME is TOTALLY on the ABUSERS AND WORKERS!
How dare they continue to be ignored, bring them to justice, jail THEM and throw away the keys.

Two cents, I wholeheartedly agree. No predator should ever be allowed back into meetings of any kind. Their only purpose in attending is to find new victims.
Until the Dean Bruer CSA/SA story broke, overseers and most all staff workers had absolute power no matter how low their IQ was. When I was a kid, guys like Irving Ross went around to conventions and told boys how short their hair needed to be. Al Goff carried a hair clipper in his suitcase and used it at will on terrified boys. Arnold Brown made people take off their car radio antennas and told girls how long their skirt needed to be. He even openly mocked those that tried to cover their legs with their Bible if they had a mini skirt on. After all this, most all in the group worshiped the ground these clowns walked on. No wonder they got away with anything they wanted. What a shame so many, including me, believed the malarkey they spewed.

I don’t want to think too much about them, I am close in cursing them and that won’t be right or help anything, I do trust that God can do the miracle of healing, the other side of this dirty coin, and pray that He will completely heal all the victim’s🌷
Wings For Truth- please give my e mail to any survivor and family if they want it, I want to support them but for my own sanity I have to let this be, I can’t do anything but pray.
What I have a hard time coming to grips with too is the apparent lack of concern of others in the fellowship there. Did others just lay down and accept this? As an elder I would have never allowed that man in my home or his wife from meeting with the victims. The fellowship needs to stand up for what is right. Finally, I would have confronted the overseer personally over his affair and if he ever got friendly with my wife I would rearrange his mouth.
The men in this fellowship especially need to start being MEN and being protective of others regardless of the consequences.

What was inside was false though….spiritual thought there….want to make sure what’s in my heart isin’t false. Want to stand for what what is true, honest, right and of good report!
