Some disturbing news has been brought to me lately and I feel the need to address it directly with all of you.
Just a few weeks ago on Tuesday July 11, in Springfield [Redacted] and her advocate [Redacted] told us about a horrible sexual assault that [Redacted] had suffered at the hand of a former brother worker. This man has a long history of sexual assault allegations, some of which he has admitted to. The detailed facts of this story are far more horrible than most of you have heard or could even imagine.
We know without a doubt that she did suffer a horrible assault. This has been confirmed by the medical professionals who looked after her following the incident. The medical professionals also found that she had been given a date rape drug and have explained that this was used to render her unable to fight back or remember the details of the assault.
[Redacted] did nothing wrong in any of this. She was not wrong to seek medical attention, and would have likely died if she hadn’t done so. She was not wrong to tell her story earlier this month. We need to know about these types of things so we can make sure they do not happen again. And she certainly did nothing wrong in the way of inviting this attack upon herself. The man who attacked her had pre planned it, insomuch as he had an illegal date rape drug on hand to use to facilitate the attack.
It has come to my attention that since the July 11th meeting, some have been speculating on the validity of her story and even have gone so far as to tell others that she is likely making it all up. While it is a natural thing to question when we hear things that are as horrible as this it isn’t right to sow doubt, telling others that this is a false story. I understand that all of you don’t have all of the details of this incident, and should not have them. But I can assure you that those who do understand all the details, have absolutely no doubt that this happened and that [Redacted] deserves our utmost respect, deepest compassion and most sincere prayers.
Any rumors that [Redacted] made this story up or that she was somehow at fault or shouldn’t have spoken up, needs to STOP NOW. We need to work together as Christlike people with compassion for one another to support any who have survived such tragedy and do everything we can to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

Will this ever stop! NO!!! GOD is not in charge of this!!! “A former brother worker. This man has a long history of sexual assault allegations, some of which he has admitted to.” This is WRONG!!!! The same assault to MY daughter was WRONG!!!! WAKE UP! THIS “WAY” IS WRONG!!!! The head worker the okayed the assault on my daughter is still a head worker. The predator is still a worker. These people are very flawed humans dressed in suits. They are no different than lawyers in a court room dressed in suits. Get these “suits” behind closed doors you will see the human. I have. In both cases. Many, many times. Very intimidating. And both are very ugly! Both need to be kept away from anyone that is scrupulous. You either talk their language, or die. These people need to stop. And that simply means, no more interaction. …. If you don’t know what Scrupulous means – – look it up.
This makes me sick. I saw on another site who this worker is and it is infuriating. Absolutely disgusting . So many lives hurt by these monsters and yet people defending them. People wake up protect your children and your self they aren’t beyond using date rape drugs…they are very aware of the naive people “the friends” are.
Who is the perpetrator? Everyone should know. or if you are not able to say, what site was it on?

Terrible enough that it happened, and then compounded horrifically by people talking against the victim and questioning the validity of a story that would have been incredibly painful to even tell. I don’t really have words for how I’d like to handle people like that. if there was a way to do it, I would like to ball up the victim’s experience in a toxic ball and shove it down their throats till they have been forced to taste and absorb its bitterness into every fibre of their being. In their arrogance and insularity they dare to voice opinions about things they know nothing about.
I appreciate Craig W addressing this quickly and decisively.
More than 50 years of being doubted by mostly overseers and some friends about this man and others. Well, nice the disturbing news has finally reached CW who wants it to “STOP NOW.” I have wished it for 50 years. So many lives spared including the latest one if true facts were believed. BELIEVE ME. This one could have been spared altogether. It gives me many sleepless nights. Hope those who are in power find their bed a little more rocky!

Thank you Craig! Thank you for standing up for this brave lady, thank you. This is what has been sorely lacking. Honesty and compassion. I do hope that others, friends and workers alike will throw of this fear of man and will instead act because of the Fear of God in there hearts.
Shame on each of you who believed the criminal over the victim. Shame on you for your evil lips, spreading lies about this girl. There are still “Friends” (not of Jesus I assure you) trying to shame victims and distance their favorite Friends and workers from their crimes with minimizing language and slurs against victims. SHAME ON YOU.
Craig thank you for sharing. you share a half truth. The real truth is this was an esteemed overseer. Which was removed from the ministry knowing full well he was a predator and the new overseer did not inform anybody. Furthermore he was encouraged to marry another ex worker who clearly did not know his past. And even worse he was allowed to have a meeting as an elder. And even more horrendous is he was allowed to have a young sister worker stay at his home without a companion.
I will believe that we believe in zero tolerance and that we believe in preventing these horrific acts when I see consequences for those that coverup such. This would never have happened if the consequences of coverup were so severe that the overseer that covered up this persons actions had exposed him and dealt with this as God would.
Overseer, and you know who you are, Show some humility, be the example and step down. We are all ashamed of your poor judgement actions that has resulted in you risking many peoples lives and resulting in this horrendous crime.
Who put her in that home by herself in the first place ? We all know what IH is like. Shameful and so very heartbreaking that people don’t care and don’t take this at all seriously.
Absolutely. Who assigned a single sister worker to visit such a home?
How pathetic is it that we even have to ask that question?
Consider this. The lady reported her story. Her story is based on facts – true. She was not believed by some apparently. Consider this. An overseer says her story is true. NOW you can believe it. HE validated it. So now skeptics can believe! STOP discounting her story he says. But I ask you will any who are discounting those who have spoken out about this man and others for more than 50 years will the doubters believe them now, too. Is CW and other overseers validating them as well. Are they responding to the ladies who are trying to be advocates for these survivors. Or are they stonewalling. Since some overseers have been among the biggest doubters, can we hope it will now be safe to not only report to the law, but to overseers to make a safe place for survivors without being shamed, doubted, labeled, minimized, pacified, humored, humiliated and discounted to their own families. From experience, I speak. Please carefully consider these observations. Discount me if you must, but doing so will place others in peril. The culture that enabled abuse to be swept under the rug was created by overseers. Friends were taught to doubt inconvenient truths. Now they are supposed to “Stop now” their unbelief. Consider this, please.

How?….how?…how?….premeditated and the most evil. We’d like to think this isn’t real because we don’t see how it’s possible. It’s possible. It’s happened for years and years. People can still read these things and say “yeah, but it doesn’t change my faith…”
How? How does it not change your faith? That’s not admirable. To be steadfast in these times and to shut your eyes is not admirable. This could have been your daughter. This man would be praying for the death penalty if this was my daughter. I’d hope the workers would keep it quiet and not report him to authorities so that I could get to him first. In fact, if we’re not reporting crimes to the law I think it’s logical to not report the guilty until the parents or close friends of the victims get to have “a word” with the abusers. Overseers and senior workers are going to cover everything up anyway. Might as well pay these folks a visit if you have something to say to the brother workers and elders who have abused your friends and family. Jesus forgave the man on the cross next to him. He’ll forgive you for your anger. Actually, he won’t need to forgive you because he’d understand. It’s the abuser He won’t forgive. He very well said he’d “drown abusers in the sea”. That wasn’t a parable.
You’re not a bad person if you leave this church. You’re not a bad person if you stay in this church. You’re a bad person if your faith isn’t changed by all of this. You’re a bad person if you scoff and mock those who leave this church. You’re a bad person if you judge anyone for leaving. Nobody thinks you’re a hero. Nobody appreciates your faith in these times. This isn’t the marines. There is no special award for you at the end for enduring the pain. There’s no black belt for your perfect attendance in fellowship. I’m appalled by the mothers and fathers in this fellowship who have the audacity to say other families are “struggling” with all of this news and uproar in our fellowship as if it’s a weakness or a lack of faith. If you’re not struggling and if you’re stoned face and stoic through this I’m not sure God or Jesus would appreciate that. I can say this because I pray about it. So many of you just want to stay on the merry go round. Because you were born on the merry go round. There’s peace in getting off. There’s peace in taking a break. You’ll face the vitriol of those still going in circles who think they’re going forward, but really, who cares? If this really was the true way, they’d be so so so sad to see you leave. But really they get angry. They mock you with things like “they were never serious anyway.” “They’ve always been looking for a way out”. “Gods way is a narrow way”, “they’ve always struggled” “they’re bitter”. “They’re mental”. I won’t stand for those words. That’s evil. You’re offended at people leaving YOUR church? You’re offended that people don’t want to be part of a church that covers up evil? Question yourself before you get on your high horse (on the merry go round).
You can leave. You have the strength. You’ll find out who your friends are and who care about you. I know you’re scared. You’ve been taught and indoctrinated that evil lurks on the outside. Well, guess what? Evil is certainly lurking on the inside. This isn’t a safe fellowship. If it really is “Satan” who is in our fellowship right now then our fellowship isn’t immune. If it really is Satan who is corrupting the minds of the abusers and carrying out these evil deeds does that mean we shouldn’t be afraid of the abusers because it’s actually Satan? No. Be afraid of the abusers. Be afraid of anyone who doesn’t take this seriously. You’re a GOOD person for having questions.

I agree with you Alan, I told a family member this morning Satan is running the fellowship. I got off the merry go round a month ago. My relationship with the Lord is much deeper than when I was in meetings. People in “the way” don’t realize they are in tremendous bondage , a bondage not of God but of a system that is man made. I’m not a Guinea Pig anymore for William Irvine’s experiment! 😊

Thank you, Mr. Watts, for stating: “This man would be praying for the death penalty if this was my daughter.” This prompts the question I find myself asking: Where are the mature, independent, moral men amongst us that would make a stand against ANYONE who would sexually assault a woman, let alone 😔 sexually assaulting a child??? Have they all been emasculated? I’m a woman, and my sentiments are EXACTLY the same as yours if someone did this to my daughter. I would go to the ends of the earth to hold him accountable, and so would my husband – overseer or no overseer! If the perpetrator is charged, with an ensuing trial, I will be there everyday as a show of support to his many victims and to stare him in the eyes.

AS Craig ends his letter on June 11, he states: we are trusting God will guide ALL our “decisions” as we move into the FUTURE.
OUR Prayer and plea is that they HUMBLE their ego’s and remove themselves from the cause of any future protected predator abuses.
AND THEN “desperately” ask God to guide their learning of God’s very “whole Armour” that God – HIMSELF – has given FOR THEM to Protect themselves from the very “wiles of the Devil”!
Yes, open their MINDS that they are able to read and understand EACH WORD as it is written by the very Spirit of Christ(1 Peter 1:11).
Hummble themselves enough to actually read to whom and What Jesus ministered.
Humble themselves enough to actually read and understand to whom and What the 12 Apostles actually Taught. TRY to understand the Doctrine of the very ones they claim to follow. Read the “Apostles Doctrine” Acts 2:42- :46. AND be honest enough before their God to let this soak into their very brains.
Oh, what a WEB they continue to weave; as victims suffer while they protect the predators.
We all know who this individual is , and it is time for him to be removed from society. It is very obvious that there are no limits to the horrors he’s willing to inflict. The depth of his depravity seems to be getting worse.

Enough is enough, what will it take? Whatever overseer okayed this, needs to be imprisoned as well if he had knowledge of this man’s abuse history.
Friends it’s time to take a more aggressive stance regarding these atrocities, do not ask permission from overseers to do so.
If does not matter what any overseer does or doesn’t do regarding these CSA/SA crimes, they are going nowhere. Advocate’s asked every single one of them to resign in a June 4, 2023 letter. CCF did the same thing in a recent letter to Ray, Dale, and Barry. None, except for Matt Jensen left. Professing folk just need to realize these are the type of leaders they will need to obey and follow and listen to if they want to be in what is now call “the fellowship”. Used to call it “the truth” or “the way”.

IH was sent to my home after atrocities were known – and I have three daughters! I am more than angry that these things happen. Overseers can not just say we’re going to do better now. The overseers who covered up can not ever again inspire trust,.
