Jim Stipp removed from meetings

Jim Stipp has been removed from all meetings due to multiple allegations of childhood sexual abuse. He was a worker for about 30 years, starting in the 70s. He labored in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mexico, Argentina, and Puerto Rico. Jim now lives near Chicago, Illinois.

Allegations were brought to the attention of the overseer, Clarence Anderson, about 20 years ago, and no action was taken. They were later brought to the next overseer, Alan Anderson, and no action was taken.

  1. Clarence (now dead) and Alan were two big time workers who really knew how to hold the convention crowds spellbound from their perch on the platform. Can still remember words Alan spoke at a Wisconsin convention in the early 80’s – very good advise which I still try to uphold. He even gave me three of his bird pencil art drawings – very talented artist. Now, it is very sad to hear that they too were involved in the CSA scandal and ran cover for Stipp. When is this nightmare going to end? Only God knows – He knows best.

  2. “Jim Stipp ADMITTED to two incidents of child abuse. (Jim)…will not be in meetings until further notice”. Until further notice? I guess zero tolerance is not so zero tolerance here. What do you really expect? Welcome back, Jim!

  3. Accepting this as being true, when is Alan expected to be open and honest – and resign? If he is complicit, he needs to go as well.
You either clean house or the cancer continues to fester. All or nothing! This is not the time to makes excuses for a favored person, you support what is right or by default support the filth.

  4. So even a confession has to be examined to decide what to do? I can give the answer: tell him that he is a sick man, he will not be allowed back EVER, and warn all the friends. Problem solved! Why can’t our workers accept zero tolerance??

  5. We recently heard that Alan Anderson was removed from the Mexican field. Why? Alan had been a senior worker in Mexico for many years and was not to leave because the Mexican government was investigating him.

    1. I think any workers or friends who don’t report these criminals to the police, are cowards. It should’ve said “Jim Stipp INDICTED on 2 incidents of child abuse.”
