If it is true, as some on this site state in past comments,
that this guy had a long track record in MN, CO, OK, Missouri and Arkansas with various types of abuse, all of his past overseers need to removed also – just one man’s opinion.
Dear Friends,
We wanted to take a minute to explain our reason for creating this platform. Some of us were having repeated conversations with friends and family who felt like they were disconnected, uninformed, and quickly losing hope. These conversations led to an email chain, but the readership quickly surpassed the capabilities of that. This platform was created as a way to keep people updated, connected, having important conversations, and working toward positive change in our fellowship. In all of this, the goal is to uphold Jesus, and support the healthy examination of traditions. We believe that our relationship with Jesus is a personal endeavor, but it is enhanced by sharing our love for Him with others. We are by no means the start of a new church.
We are working hard to ensure that our community is a safe space where members feel welcome to share their thoughts and feelings without fear of being intimidated or shamed for holding those views. We strongly believe that this community can have hard conversations and hold differing opinions, while still maintaining an atmosphere of grace and respect for one another.
This is a completely private social network, which means only the logged in members can see the contents. However, it has many of the same features as a public social network such as adding pictures, links, and resources. The other consideration that we want members to have, is that while the information you post is secure within the platform, members may talk or discuss that information outside of the platform.
We launched the platform on Sunday, June 4, so please have patience as we work through the best functionality of the site and improve as we go.
We warmly welcome everyone to the Platform. Thank you for your dedication to keep conversations on this platform kind, respectful, vulnerable, and productive.
Sincerely,
Your friends
Thank you.
Hi Shane,
I have found “Better Together – Connected and Concerned Friends” very edifying.
A wonderful spread of young and old, every voice heard, positive and hopeful.
I’ve enjoyed the constructive comments and discussions as spiritually stimulating. It’s good to mediate on things and consider is something I do or believe because the spirit brings peace in its outcome or doing, or is it something I do just because I have been brought up believing it’s just what we do and is tradition.
I love the sharing of testimony and the love and passion that people are feeling to defend Christs Way, that we believe in and separate untruths and deceit.
May God continue to show us real Christs Truth of Love and remove all hypocrisy.
Here’s the link to the platform. 🙂
