Dear Friends
I hope you’re all managing okay.
l‘m sorry this may come as a surprise but It seems wise for me to take some time away from the work. I haven’t been sleeping well for some time now. Perhaps some time away will help restore. I’m not able to make any promises at this point regarding the future. I have certainly appreciated my time in this field.
if you have any questions within your meeting, you can reach out to Loren Quick. He will be working with others as well.
Kevin and I had two gospel meetings scheduled for Sunday, July 9 & 16 at the Indian Prairie Public Library. However we are canceling them.

Matthew sounds like a beaten man in this letter. It is a shame that good honest people like him suffer due to the evil actions of the many SA/CSA peds and perps that he apparently is aware of, including other idolized workers and professing folk.
Forgot to mention, but Matthew has done what every other honest worker the world over should be doing. This old cowboy does not know how any honest person in this organization can sleep at night with all the known CSA/SA offenses and leadership coverup that has occurred over the years. It is truly horrible and do not think God approves of any of it.
It gives me hope that being an overseer hasn’t seared Matt’s conscience.
Respect, like others have said, for a decision that makes its own statement.
As someone who managed employees for years I will say that this is clear evidence that if you don’t deal with the bad actors, you will lose the good ones. I’m so sorry, Matt. You’re one of the good ones.
Matt, good for you and thank you for stepping up and being honest. Your sincere and that comes through. I truly appreciate honesty and true sincerity. You can take comfort in that God has not allowed your conscience to be seared, and be thankful for that. A frog put in a cold pot of water doesn’t know when the heat is turned up and will eventually die from the hot water. A frog put in the hot water will instinctively jump out. You jumped out of the hot water and that shows your core beliefs; you are a good man really directed by God. There’s way too many people, workers and head workers included, that have a seared conscience. They do not feel the boiling water and therefore, they feel nothing for anyone. I could name a few here that you and I both know but this is not the time or place. This is about you. I appreciate your courage, trust in God and sincerity. May God comfort you in your path forward and may God bless you. Thank you.
