Darryl Doland comment on Scott Rauscher letter

Tonight Scott R & I connected. As Tom H & Tammy C have already written to some of us, their letter needs to be understood in context. It was sent to 6 couples in Bozeman regarding a conversation that has been going on for months. The way I understand it, the workers & the 6 couples do not agree on some things, but the workers think there isn’t any way to resolve things further, so it’s best for everyone to just move on. There have also been some other friends (besides the workers and 6 couples) involved in their reconciliation efforts. One thing Scott emphasized to me is the statements in his letter have nothing to do with victims coming forward and reporting. He said he wants to reassure me they are doing what they can to support all victims. I am writing this in my own words, so I hope it captures the gist of what was said. I understand there could be some controversy about this report, but I’ll just pass on what was said.

WINGS Note: This relates to a letter written by Scott Rauscher and others, advising that the workers would no longer accept any new complaints about historic events, and indicating a focus on restoration / recovery [of perpetrators?] “taking into consideration the needs of victims”.

  1. And WHY is Doland having to explain and clarify for Rauscher? Isn’t Rauscher one of the chosen/spoken to by GAWD/overseer gifted with discernment? Interesting response Doland.

    • @piss your lack of respect and sad spelling of God indicate you are someone who should likely pray for God to have some mercy on you asap. An extra big measure of mercy. Then try to find a place for repentance so you can avoid the “reward” of these thoughts’ and words.

      • jimmy-boy, while you can and do have your opinions, I am unclear on your expertise in determining I am in need of Gawdly mercy. Regarding disrespect, never in 50/60 plus years would I have imagined the level of disdain I have for senior management. The results are APPALLING, the level of secrecy and coverup is ASTOUNDING, and the PIOUS attitude of senior management who claim to have discernment is DISGUSTING. What proclaimed Gawd/Spirit is being followed? The results show/demonstrate what it is. The lack of transparency in all matters has led the chaos playing out today.

      • “Jim”, it seems you sent another e-mail earlier this week to people near Pheonix. Your twisted lack of logic is striking, and your writing style has become unmistakable. I recall your prior e-mails knowing the age of consent in all 50 states and advice against talking to mental healthcare experts (mandatory reporters). This stuff doesn’t convince people, it makes you seem untrustworthy. What are you hiding? For reference here is “Jim’s” email: “Dear Friends,
It is with Great joy that I share this letter with you in case you have not already seen it.
It was refreshing to read words that look and feel inspired by God and his Son and Scripture.
This is a very good start in the correct direction.
Some overdue changes are still needful… but that is always the case as we journey onward and we grow as healthy children.
        your brother, Vi[dacted]”

    • Maybe Darryl Doland could comment on Scott Rauscher and enlighten everyone why Scott Rauscher covered up the child abuse scandal, along with the team of workers, that left the child abuse victim with brain damage from suffocation while the child was molested. Also, since Darryl is so “connected” with Scott Rauscher, maybe Darryl can explain why Scott Rauscher and Dean Bruer had the lady kneel in a darkened room before them? Anyone in the same company as Dean Bruer and Scott Rauscher and is “connected”, is not running with a crowd to be proud of. Or trusted. That includes “workers”, “friends”, or anyone else regardless their title. These humans show, from their direct actions, they are demented, self serving, sick people.

  2. P & D has valid points. Jim, hearing you is painful. You are so self righteous; a perfect “friend”. Hearing you espouse your view points in some meeting twice a week? No, it would be more enjoyable walking on broken glass.

  3. Simple, why not have the six couples “verify” this, and put to bed any doubt for those who no longer trust what workers say or do (in these matters)?

    • Tom, you sure have my ear!

i have a concept…..what about Scott addressing the letter with the names of people he wants his letter to go to ..instead of Friends…..there would be no question or confusion from anyone then, but that’s what accountable people do in the Real World…..no major secrets that seem to be the norm from The Top!

  5. A broken and a contrite heart, the Lord will not “despise”. I (for one) cannot see a spirit of a broken and contrite heart manifested in these letters? Darryl, some think it peculiar that you wrote this letter of clarification instead of Scott, after all, he is the overseer? Can it be because no one would believe him after the letter he wrote “explicitly” to “The Friends”? Is Scott be too proud to apologize and write a letter (with a broken and contrite heart) for all the damage his letter is doing? It’s interesting that the letter concluded with a salutation including all the individual workers names, but the “The Friends” was used in place of individual saints names. I realize this is nit-picky, but the comeback “reeks” as more deceitful damage control, and if it’s not, I truly feel sorry for what your having to go through. Senior workers are no longer trustworthy to many saints because of the way CSA was covered up, thus, “we are no longer gullible”, and have every reason to question what we’re told. We no longer trust all overseers are led by the Holy Spirit (Dean Bruer, Leslie White, to name a few). After reading these letters I can’t help but think of the author of confusion.

    • Hi Tom – Darryl’s letter wasn’t written as a public letter. It was written to a few church members that, as a group, were asking him to step in to deal with Scott R and help the Bozeman friends. It was an update to a few concerned people. I would also say that my hope is that this is not the end answer of the situation. It is the responsibility (self accepted and self appointed) of the overseers to deal with other overseers. This is the system they have set up, and this is how they have said it works. I am waiting to see if there are results that come out beyond what we currently see happening. Perhaps so, perhaps not.

  6. This is another reason for there NOT to be anyone in the ministry labeled “overseer” (other than there’s no scripture to back up having another level of overseers – the Elders are the ONLY ones who the Bible refers to as “overseers”). Scott R. Has repeatedly made decisions that are detrimental to the people of Faith. If I was on his staff I would be mortified that he would have the gall to put my name on a letter as if the whole staff supported him!! I kind of understand Daryl trying to support a peer, but because they are all still in the wrong (by not following scripture when it comes to the ministry) I don’t see how this abuse of power is ever going to stop or resolve issues. You have to get back to the scriptures, that you claim to be following, and then willingly hand over the responsibility of handling these types of issues through the scriptural OVERSEERS. The Texas ministry has handed this responsibility over, now they need to follow the scripture of the ministry being the messengers. When the disciples were arguing about who would be the greatest amongst themselves once Jesus was gone, what was Jesus response? Read Matt 18.
