Walter “Ted” Moore of Emmett, Idaho admitted molesting 2 girls at his daughter-in-law’s day care center and as many as 13 other children, all of them daughters of his friends and relatives. At first he maintained his innocence and stood trial in March 1996. He confessed in May after family members in Oregon told Moore’s wife that he had molested several relative years before.
He was sentenced on 7 June 1996 to serve 7-20 years for molesting a 4 year old at the day care center.
